Such a beautiful story to wake up to. 🚑 On Sunday I was admitted to hospital with pnemonia. I was feeling crook for about 2 weeks but I didn't stop. It took a trip to the hospital but I have learnt a very valuable lesson: Self care. Being a mother to 3 little kids and running my own business is tough. I understand why it is a trending hashtag, self care needs to be a regular part of life and I shouldn't feel selfish about that. ... and I shall carry on my #selfcare by remaining in bed. p.s. sorry for not responding to emails and phone calls, I'll get back to you when I can ❤️🛌

I want to say a big thank you to all my brides, new and old, clients, followers, industry peeps I've worked with and for, my friends and family. From the very small beginnings of House of Palms to all the weddings and events yet to come, I'm so grateful for all your support. I am so happy being a florist and the fact I can support my family by doing something I have so much passion for makes my life incredible. This is me and my radiant family. Harriet, Franklin, Patrick and my ever supportive, intelligent, hottie of a husband Michael. I love them with all my heart. For me, floristry allows me to express my creativity through my love of botanicals and I've discovered a byproduct of that is bringing happiness to people's lives, it has become a huge motivator and is now a large part of why I love what I do so much. With weddings and events being cancelled this has all come to an abrupt halt. Can't stop. Won't stop. I am so grateful for the life I'm living. I had a plan for 2020 but now seems like the best opportunity to speed things up because even though it's a sh*t storm at the moment, this is a beautiful silver lining and I'm so very excited to be bringing something so awesome! Now, more than ever people need a little ray of happiness. Thank you for all your support and what that means for my family. Stay safe, keep smiling and STAY TUNED!!!

A sea of colour for today's flower crown workshop. When I started painting the exposed brick wall of my studio I didn't realise how time consuming it was! So 2 months later we're still painting and I have had to move my work to the garage!
