Look, as you know, I LOVE D&D and Larian absolutely knocked it out of the park with Baldur's Gate 3, but this s**t has to stop!

Not every successful media needs a movie or TV series spin off. Half of the joy of BG3 is to actually PLAY a character in the D&D universe. You get to make your own decision and do things your way. By announcing this, Netflix is basically saying that they can make the best decisions for the story and show the most entertaining path of the story and I wholeheartedly disagree with that assumption. Larian made a fantastic game off of their own backs and using minimal IP (due to the OGL). Netflix just wants to money grab and they know that any writers they hire to write original content are going to fail in that respect so they would rather ride the coattails of something successful rather than hone their chops on OC. This is happening WAY TOO OFTEN in the world of writing and it makes for some insanely repetitive viewing in this day and age.

Netflix; kindly f**k off.

‘Baldur’s Gate’ will be the next big live-action game adaptation according to a new report, with details that Netflix are currently in talks to acquire the rights.

Love Lars Mikkelsen as Thrawn in Ashoka, at first I wasn't digging the look as I was expecting the jawline to sink in and square up but I think they made the right choice. If there is one thing the Mikkelsen brothers do well it is gravitas, Thrawn NEEDS gravitas, and Lars delivers in abundance. Now we just need some episodes involving him that actually move forward xD
