South Coast Raw is a music event in the Southern Suburbs of Adelaide. SCR is held regularly at the Port Noarlunga Sports Complex, at 1 Britain Road, Port Noarlunga South. Showcasing local up and coming live bands, it is one of the most popular original music venues in the South!! SCR is supporting local up and coming bands, and helping them to get their music out to the world. (Well the southern s

uburbs at least!!!)

SCR is run by a dedicated team of volunteers:

Dave Redhead - Event Organiser, Sound Engineer. Ozzy - Stage / Lighting. Steve - Stage / Lighting

SCR events are run every other month at the Port Noarlunga Football Club - 1 Britain Road, Port Noarlunga South. Three bands play a 45 min set each, to a local crowd, at a licenced venue. Entry to most SCR gigs is only $5. (end of year gig is $10)

Register your interest now. Original bands welcome. If you are thinking about applying to play at South Coast Raw, please consider the following:
South Coast Raw spots are very limited and competition is strong. To give your band the best opportunity for selection to play at SCR, you need to put together the best application possible to make sure that your band stands out from the many other quality bands that apply to SCR. Good applications include:
Relevant information about your band including: Genre, originals or covers, achievements, other gigs you have played, other bands you have played with. All relevant links to your: Facebook – website – YouTube – music samples etc. Poor applications have:
Very little information
No links
No samples
Poor grammar

SCR event organisers review all applications in our own time. If you would like us to spend the time to review your application, we would like to see YOU spend the time putting together a good quality application that provides us with all the relevant information. We will not spend time searching for the information that you have not provided. Thank you from the SCR Team

After nearly a year of no South Coast Raw gigs, drove past the Port Noarlunga Sports Complex today to check on the progress of construction of the new facilities. Looking pretty good! Should be able to move into our new home early in the new year! And we're planning a big gig for the grand opening!

A lot of people have been asking what has happened to South Coast Raw, so we thought we better give you all an update:
The Port Noarlunga Sports Complex is currently under a re-build phase. Brand new facilities are being built, and eventually the old clubrooms will be demolished. During construction, unfortunately it is not possible to hold South Coast Raw events in the current building, as access is very difficult. We look forward to hosting South Coast Raw events in the new facilities later in 2022. Keep posted to this page for the latest news and developments.
