We are already getting in the Christmas spirit so we thought we would let you all know in advance that we will be closed for bookings from Monday, 23rd December 2024 until Sunday, 5th January 2025.

We return for the second half of our 2024/2025 season from Monday, 6th January 2025 😍

MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE

We are on the hunt for Cinema Operators to join our team for our 2024/2025 season! 😁

If you are looking to spend your summer nights watching movie classics under the stars at some of Adelaide’s top locations then this job is for you! Our cinema season typically runs from October through to April however, the right person will have the ability to continue on with us for future seasons.

To be considered for a Cinema Operator position with Adelaide Outdoor Cinema you must possess the following:

👉 Valid ABN
👉 Valid Driver’s License and own method of transport
👉 Availability to work Friday and Saturday afternoons and nights during the contracted period
👉 Heavy lifting will be required
👉 Flexibility with start and finish times is essential

Qualifications
👉 Experience in Audio Visual set up and operation is ideal but not essential
👉 Ability to work as part of a team and independently
👉 Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
👉 Ability to work well in a fast paced environment
👉 Excellent organisational and time management skills
👉 Attention to detail and ability to following instructions
👉 Effective communication skills
👉 A terrific sense of humour 😜

As our 2023/2024 season comes close to the end, we wanted to say a massive “THANK YOU” to everyone who made a booking with us this season!😍

We have had an incredible season and we are so grateful to have such an amazing and loyal client base who continue to book with us each year as well as the new clients we have had come on board! Without your support of our small business we would not exist. 🎉

We are excited to say that we have already started taking bookings for the end of 2024 and beginning of 2025 and cannot wait to get back to it after the cold/rainy season. 💕

The expected audience size for screening of “Mamma Mia” was so big that we had to upgrade them from the 5M screen to the 7.5M screen and I think it’s safe to say that we all made the right call here! This event completely SOLD OUT! 🎟️😍🤪

We love it when we get the message that a client has exceeded their expected audience size and need to upgrade to a BIGGER screen - not just because we LOVE a BIG screen but because we love watching other local businesses thrive with successful events!

It’s safe to say that we have not had much luck with the weather recently 🤪 If it’s not raining, it’s windy! Definitely not the summer we expected however, we were very excited to be able to pull through (despite a few hiccups with the wind) for Norwood Swimming Centre’s screening of Super Mario Bros 😁🎉🙌

If you missed this event, we will be back on 27th January for their screening of Ice Age 🧊🦣🦥

THAT’S A WRAP FOR 2023!

We had a massive start to 2023 from January through to April and what better way to finish off the year than at one of our favourite places - Saddleworth, SA! 😍
