MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE

We are on the hunt for Cinema Operators to join our team for our 2024/2025 season! 😁

If you are looking to spend your summer nights watching movie classics under the stars at some of Adelaide’s top locations then this job is for you! Our cinema season typically runs from October through to April however, the right person will have the ability to continue on with us for future seasons.

To be considered for a Cinema Operator position with Adelaide Outdoor Cinema you must possess the following:

👉 Valid ABN
👉 Valid Driver’s License and own method of transport
👉 Availability to work Friday and Saturday afternoons and nights during the contracted period
👉 Heavy lifting will be required
👉 Flexibility with start and finish times is essential

Qualifications
👉 Experience in Audio Visual set up and operation is ideal but not essential
👉 Ability to work as part of a team and independently
👉 Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
👉 Ability to work well in a fast paced environment
👉 Excellent organisational and time management skills
👉 Attention to detail and ability to following instructions
👉 Effective communication skills
👉 A terrific sense of humour 😜

As our 2023/2024 season comes close to the end, we wanted to say a massive “THANK YOU” to everyone who made a booking with us this season!😍

We have had an incredible season and we are so grateful to have such an amazing and loyal client base who continue to book with us each year as well as the new clients we have had come on board! Without your support of our small business we would not exist. 🎉

We are excited to say that we have already started taking bookings for the end of 2024 and beginning of 2025 and cannot wait to get back to it after the cold/rainy season. 💕

The expected audience size for screening of “Mamma Mia” was so big that we had to upgrade them from the 5M screen to the 7.5M screen and I think it’s safe to say that we all made the right call here! This event completely SOLD OUT! 🎟️😍🤪

We love it when we get the message that a client has exceeded their expected audience size and need to upgrade to a BIGGER screen - not just because we LOVE a BIG screen but because we love watching other local businesses thrive with successful events!

It’s safe to say that we have not had much luck with the weather recently 🤪 If it’s not raining, it’s windy! Definitely not the summer we expected however, we were very excited to be able to pull through (despite a few hiccups with the wind) for Norwood Swimming Centre’s screening of Super Mario Bros 😁🎉🙌

If you missed this event, we will be back on 27th January for their screening of Ice Age 🧊🦣🦥

THAT’S A WRAP FOR 2023!

We had a massive start to 2023 from January through to April and what better way to finish off the year than at one of our favourite places - Saddleworth, SA! 😍

Unfortunately, Carols in the Park has been cancelled tomorrow night due to the weather 😭

CAROLS IN THE PARK CANCELLED: We are sad to announce that Carols in the Park this Friday 8 December has been cancelled due to inclement weather, including a forecast of 36 degrees, thunderstorms and a predicted Extreme Fire Danger Rating. As this is an outdoor event, these conditions may compromise the safety of our community, performers and staff. This has led us to make the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Carols in the Park. Please be aware that due to the limited availability of performers and vendors during the Christmas event season, we are unable to reschedule Carols in the Park to a later date in December. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience.

We are back and getting ready for the 2023/2024 Cinema Season! 😍🎉

We are on the hunt for a few more reliable Cinema Operators to join our team and would love to hear from you if you possess the following:

*Must have a valid ABN
*Must be available on weekends (Friday-Sunday) from October 2023 - April 2024
*Must have own method of transport and a valid drivers licence
*Heavy lifting will be required
*Flexibility with start and finish times is essential
*AV experience is an advantage but not essential (we will teach you all you need to know)
*Must be willing to travel all over Adelaide (some rural travel may be required)

IT’S THE MOMENT YOU’VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!

We said something BIG was coming and we meant it 😁

All the way from in Germany 🇩🇪 our brand new 7.5M screen! 🎉

Every year our 7.5M screen is requested by multiple clients on the same day/date and we sadly have to turn clients away or work with them reschedule for an alternative date which doesn’t always work so having 2 of these bad boys in our hands will sure make things smoother for next season 😍

We can’t wait to unwrap our newest addition and get some photos up for you all to see! Keep watching this space!

Holy (insert word that’s not appropriate for social media here)! Check out tonight’s turn out for screening of “Sing 2” 😍

Are you amongst the crowd tonight? We must say the weather ended up being perfect, the pre show entertainment was fantastic, the twilight markets were wonderful (we even made a cheeky purchase ourselves 😉) and the food was AAAAAMAZING! 🤤

There was a bit of something for everyone tonight! If you missed out on coming down tonight, you haven’t missed out! We will be back with the big screen on Friday, 31st March for City of Unley’s screening of “Ratatouille” 🧀🐀😁

Now if you’ll excuse us, we are going to kick back and enjoy the rest of “Sing 2” 😜
