The White Orchid was established in 2008 by Kyla Helgeson, a business owner of 17 years and a floral designer with 20+ years of experience specialising in weddings + events. We deliver wedding + event florals to Adelaide CBD and surrounding suburbs, including the stunning Adelaide Hills, as far north as the beautiful Barossa/Clare Valley regions and as far south as beachside Port Elliot/Currency C

reek. Our online store of popular wedding + event floral designs from The White Orchid extensive portfolio, provides the easiest and quickest way to see our pricing and order flowers for your wedding + event. We have a love of local and prefer to use flowers grown in Australia whenever possible. Imported blooms are off-set through our commitment to planting trees on our business journey to being sustainable and becoming carbon neutral.

My goal when starting my business was simple, to earn my own wage. To be my own boss. To have flexiblity and freedom while raising a family.

I have achieved those things.

I am proud of the journey which has shaped me. Small business is a tough gig. Moving forward by pivoting, adapting and finding strength from experience.

I still find joy in flowers. I love learning and creating. I adore the romance of weddings. Seeing the beauty of such a special day come together makes all the hard work worthwhile. Aiming for 20 years 🎂💐🥂

My name is Kyla Helgeson and I own The White Orchid Floral Design, a boutique wedding and event florist based in Adelaide, successfully operating for 10 years! Overall, I have been a florist for 15 years. As a floral designer, I work with engaged couples and corporate clients who need high quality flowers for their wedding/event in Adelaide. I help them easily order their flowers through my online store or through personal consultation, so they can have their perfect, dream flowers for their wedding/event.
