And ESTYA, the wonderful english speaking youth theatre directed by Laura will be presenting Our Voices 2024 on 13 July at 16:10. Given a chance to expand their horizons and creativity the young ones will work together and come up with a strong united voice showing their enthusiasm and talent.

Persephone is a Greek myth that is universal. This also delves into the death/life concept. Iran Saye Theatre portrays it in a most unique and creative way. A truly artistic piece with incredible physical movements. Tightly structured and directed by Mehdi Mashhour this piece is something different. Only 3 shows. 14-16 July at 19h00.

Shhh! Chut! Motherhood, Mayhem and Emotional Cabbage is a hilarious comic yet serious show about being a mother and the joys and stress. Lisa Brickell from New Zealand portrays the problems and stress after giving birth in a delightful but truthful way. A lot of woman will definitely relate to it. 11-13 July from 19h00. Only 3 shows so don't miss it.

I am at Osaka Kansai International Airport and will be departing in a couple hours for France. As you know I am not there for the Olympics or tourism. My heart is in Avignon which has become my home in July since 1995. And I am so happy to be joined by so many wonderful aritsts.
12 days / 2 venues / 15 shows / 11 countries

With fluid movements like a dancer and an elegance in his delivery, the magical show is a beauty to perceive. Start your day with a dose of ancient Chinese poetry and timeless flow. Koto is a 7 stringed Japanese lute. It is a string instrument as well as a percussion. Etsuko Kawaguchi was grown up in a traditional family of koto musicans. The koto will enchant you and draw you into the ancient world of Japan. From 5-16 July at 19:00.

Dark and dynamic and with projections of modern day Japan lighting his body he will tap into the depths of your soul. The audience was left speechless in Adelaide Fringe 2024. Trombone virtuoso Elias Fairngersh presnts Trombone Magic. And that is exactly what it is - a magical show with Elias and his trombone. A musical spectacle, a combination of music, comedy, drama and soul. A special appearance by Elias's son, Josef.

It is moving, touching, disturbing and enlightening at the same time. You learn and feel things. Anastasiya invites you into her world. Enter and let yourself free. A powerful silent show, Sun and Crystal (Le Soleil et le Cristal) from Japan awaits you from 14:30. The show is based on Noh theatre and Butoh. Minimum movement and maximum impact. This is an oasis in the midst of the busy world and shows you the strength of solitude and serenity. From 5-16 July at 14:30.

A Journey to the Land of Sounds by Elias Fairngersh from Sweden is a delightful show for children and family. Come board a fantasy train with Elias as he takes you on a journey and helps you create a musical orchestra. A treat for the children as well as the parents. A Journey to the Land of Sounds is an interactive show running from 5-10 July at 13:00.

5 July is our first day. We open with The Faceless Madonna of Avignon a unique unreal tale told by Mark Johnson of Strings Attached. It is about a scholar coming to Avginon and is fascinated with the Faceless Madonna on the walls of Avignon who reminds him of his past romantic encounters. The story is accompanied by one of the weirdest films you have ever seen.
The Faceless Madonna of Avignon (La Vierge d'Avignon sans Visage) runs from 5-16 July from 11:00am. Entry is free so be sure to come. What a way to start your day.
