I MEEEEAN 🤩. These two party loving legends focussed on what was important them…getting hitched to the love of their life with a short, simple, but very enjoyable ceremony (complete with quite a few tears 🥲) in an epic location followed by a stomping party with all the people they love most in this world!

The celebrant catagory in the Awards is by far the largest and closest. I can honestly say that I never expect to be in the top 5 let alone win!

So for me last Wednesdays results could not better! Top 5 with a 99.94% rating shows me that above all I am consistent, reliable and doing my best for each and everyone of my couples!

It shows me that overall my couples are absolutely stoked with their experience and my services are where I want and need them to be for them!

Thank you so so much to all my AWESOME couples! You are the reason and the joy! I could not be more grateful for your trust and support! ❤️🙏

Plus I felt truly stoked to see obtain the coveted 100% score!!! Bloody brilliant and well deserved! Adam + Tim 19.10.24 | It was love at first kiss for these two characters after they shared some overpriced beers and chips on their very first date!

Then their relationship evolved that easily and naturally that they still cannot agree on who proposed to who!

On the evening in question they were walking along Jetty road and casually chatting about marriage, then at some point Tim pipes up and calls it as he sees it…

“We’re engaged...”

Judiciously with a goofy grin on his face…of course.
To which Adam said…

“Hang on a minute! A proposal has to be a question, not a statement”

So sticking with tradition Adam actually asked Tim that wonderful 4-word question later that evening…

“Will you marry me?”

To which Tim cheekily replied…

“You can’t propose because we are already engaged!”

Thankfully they could agree on one thing though…they really want to be married to each other!

And their day was paired back and beautiful with these two environmentally focussed legends opting for tube stock from State Flora to adorn the barrels around the venue for guests to take home instead of flowers and olive leaves as confetti.

Also cheeky Tim had to get a pic of all the things Adam tried to cut out, not smiling with the construction in the background and an empty wine glass in his hand!

13 YEARS AGO I performed my very FIRST ceremony and I was lucky enough to marry these two gorgeous and hilarious souls! 🥰

I will be forever grateful that Ash and Owen put a rocket up my ass by trusting me with their ceremony as a very green, slightly petrified 😬, young marriage celebrant and I continue to be thankful that couples continue to trust me with this incredibly important once in a lifetime moment in their lives.

God knows how it has been 13 years already 😳, but I found my calling all those years ago and I have loved every minute ever since!

🌟Booking 2025 and early 2026 now 🌟This is your gentle reminder to book in your pro fun loving celebrant soon!

Just a little bit of key info about booking lead times to get you started:

• Venue: Some venues have the capacity to be able to host many weddings a year, but are also very popular, so it is wise to look at your dates with your dream venue about 18 months (sometimes 2 years) in advance if you are looking at peak days of the week in ‘peak season’ (Which in SA is Sept to April on Fri and Sat arvos)
• Celebrants: Once you have your date and venue booked in I recommend for key days of the week in peak months that you chat with and lock in the celebrant you have your heart set on around 12-18 months in advance. There are of course going to still be key dates available closer to the time, but you are just taking a greater risk of missing out on the awesome celebrant you might be vibing with. This is just a guide of course. Always ask the question, you never know!
• Photographer: We are so fortunate to have some world class photographers (like that took this great shot) right here in SA who are highly sought after and some of these legends book up about 2 years in advance. But you can also book an incredible photographer about 12- 18 months before your big day.

If you are looking at ‘Off Peak’ season (May-August) or days of the week that might not be quite as popular (Sunday-Thursday), but are still amazing....you should (in theory) have a greater chance of booking your dream team easily, but it is still a good idea to touch base with them as soon as you can so you have some peace of mind.

Please know that I do not share this guide with you to put any unnecessary pressure on you, purely to inform you so that you might minimise any disappointment.

Anna + Jake 13.9.24 | Taking the p**s out of each other is definitely the love language of these two slightly sarcastic metal heads, so it’s lucky that Anna and Jake don’t take themselves seriously, which makes for a unique and hilarious relationship.

And we certainly celebrated their uniqueness on Friday the 13th with an energetic ceremony that had everyone cracking up, including a very cool soundtrack that embraced their love of heavy music and iconic movies.

Their aisle song was an instrumental version of Metallica’s ‘Nothing Else Matters’ and Robbie Hart’s famous Wedding Singer song ‘I wanna Grow Old With You’ was their first dance song (genius really because it only goes for like a minute and a half 😎).

They also remembered Robbie Hart’s advice when it was time for their first kiss as a married couple…

“No p***o tongue, church tongue…”

CONGRATULATIONS Legends and I absolutely LOVED every second ❤️

And that’s a wrap 🎁. After marrying over 50 couples this year I’ve officially hit the ‘go-slow’ festive button and am taking a little break to enjoy this precious time with my little fam. I will be answering emails after the 27th of December 2021 within 48-72 hours (vs my normal ultra quick reply time) until I’m back in the office full speed from the 10th of Jan 2022.
