This newly built facility requires a Grill Chef who is creative, efficient, reliable and an experienced team player to join our kitchen team to produce great food for our members, super star football players, their parents, siblings, friends, visiting teams and their supporters, all our functions and special events.

We are known for great food and incredible ‘specials’ so need someone with the skills and inspiration to create amazing dishes, but also humble enough to cook a burger and whip up some of the best coffee in Adelaide. We would love someone happy to roll with things but at the same time work quickly and can smash it out when needed. Flexibility and adaptability is key!!!!!!

ACFC is one of Adelaide's most successful sporting clubs with the newest building boasting a state of the art kitchen facility including a gym, change rooms a function room licensed to hold up to 250 people. With 600 members and 40 teams, training nights, game days, private events and a healthy 7-A Side summer competition, ACFC is busy all year round.

This presents an excellent opportunity to be part of a team to deliver professional service and exceed member expectations. The successful applicant will report to our Manager and together with the team be responsible for the hands-on, smooth running and success of the kitchen.

**The successful candidate for the position must have:

· Highly regarded technical skills;

· Demonstrated high level of planning and organisational skills;

· Barista experience highly regarded;

· Excellent attention to detail and a great palate;

· Able to handle high stress environments and high volume business;

·Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels of seniority in an organisation;

·Ability to work nights, weekendsand public holidays over a 7 day roster week. ( Approx 20-25 hours per week mostly after 4pm)
