Who is over to facilitate for the Soaring In The South 2024 Acro Yoga Teacher Training

Certified in both Acro Yoga International & Acro Yoga Montreal, Susanne is also a yoga teacher, embodiment coach, Movement Flow teacher and Thai Massage practitioner.

Together Susanne & Raven will be sharing
some sensational skills and creating some physical fun filled evenings for your delight

* Seaview Calisthenics Classes for 3-7 year olds on Mondays from 4.30pm- 5.30pm -cost $7.50

*Bookclub - meets monthly on third Wednesday of the month from 1pm - 2.30pm

To Tiny Tumblers Pre-Schoolers Acro classes at DCM Acrobatics! A great way to support your child’s readiness for school!
This is a class with lots of variety, learning and fun for 3yr olds to 4 ½!

Children in our Tiny Tumbler Acro classes get to sing, dance, stretch, tumble, balance and play! Learning all the beginner basics of Acrobatics! Flexibility, Strength, Balance, Limbering & Tumbling!
Over time in a Tiny Tumbler class, we see children continue to increase their trust in their teacher and connect more deeply with their peers. We see their confidence and abilities grow, learning life skills that will also prepare them for school, like following along in a circle to lining up and waiting their turn, and progressively moving to independently travelling across the floor. We have witnessed children initially be upset that they are not the leader, to understanding that everybody will get a chance to be. The key is repetition and routine - 100%

Our Tiny Tumbler class is very structured, so children know what to expect each lesson.

Over time we start to explore the space further and watch on as they improve their independent thinking and belief in themselves – “I can do it” - YES!

We’d love to have the opportunity to help develop your little one as they move through their early years.

It is a fabulous journey, the pre-school years, and we are privileged to be able to nurture their growth in becoming confident little human beings!

Few spots still remain for our next Saturday afternoon painting workshop to be facilitated by mural and acrylic artist Taylr Jay, who was involved in the design of the Hooded Plover Mural at West Beach!

Xmas in July 🎄 was celebrated today with some of our centre users.
Yummy food, carols 🎶 and plenty of laughter as we all got in the spirit of celebrating.

Do you want to create the centrepiece for the new Ngutungka Henley?

We are seeking Expressions of Interest from South Australian-based Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander artists or teams of artists that include Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander artists, to create an artwork for our new community centre and library building.

Our vision is to create an artwork that tells a First Nations story or explores a facet of First Nations culture. We invite artists to draw upon the coastal area where Ngutungka Henley will be located, known as Wonggayerlo, as well as the culture of weaving that was prominent in this area.
