Happy Father's Day! I hope everyone spending this day with their dad is having a wonderful time. To those missing their dads, I hope you are finding comfort.
My dad passed away very suddenly on Friday night. For now, it's business as usual unless we suggest otherwise, but the distraction is helping.

We've decided to change our opening hours to just Fridays from 11 am to 5 pm. However, we're more than happy to open up by appointment for online order pick-ups or if Fridays don't work for you.
During busy seasons like Christmas and Easter, we'll reassess our trading hours.

To be honest, it's been a bit of a struggle juggling between running the shop, making stock, and arranging deliveries and errands. We hope that by making this change, we can be more productive and maybe even sneak in some extra desserts during the week.

We got up early and baked some more cookies for today!

Yesterday, a customer asked us for a card reader recommendation after purchasing some sweets . Assuming they were referring to a bank card reader, we shared that we prefer the bank issued EFTPOS as it seems more reliable than Square. To our surprise, they clarified, "No, I meant a psychic reading! 🤣🤣
