Job Vacancy – Catering Co-Ordinator

Cargo Catering Co. is a dynamic family owned business. We are seeking a hard working, hospitality focused individual to assist with the management of our corporate and casual catering offering. As a family business we are committed to ‘doing hospo differently’ by providing a great work life balance and a fun and safe work environment.

Permanent position - 30-38 hours per week – flexible TOIL roster. Generally, Monday - Friday hours, with a few weekend hours here and there. Bonus payment for any event and weekend hours worked.

Based in Marleston - close to city.

Remuneration – 55-70k+ per annum depending on experience and how many event hours you want to work.

Job Role

- Client management – customer enquiries and continued service up to and during the event

- Deliveries

- Event management

- Rostering

- Packing + ordering

- Invoicing

Must have: Drivers licence, basic computer knowledge, experience in hospitality and customer service, availability to work evenings and weekends on occasions, a love of good old fashioned hospitality.

Jobs at Cargo Catering Co!

We are on the hunt for wait, bar and kitchen staff for the coming wedding season. September 2022 - May 2023.

We can be very flexible with shifts. Wether it be that you just want to work one or two shifts a month for some extra money, or if you would like to work as much as possible - just let us know and we’ll make it work.

Lots of the catering shifts are weddings located around the gorgeous McLaren Vale region, the Adelaide Hills and inner city. We pay you for your travel time to the locations as well as above award wages!

Looking for seasonal casuals as well as some experienced people to manage the running of events on the day. We offer great managers rates!!

We are also looking for chefs to work events so if you have some time spare on the weekend or in the evenings we’d love to hear from you.

Experience is fantastic, but a willingness to learn, a can do attitude and common sense is also very valuable. A drivers license would be preferable as you will need to get yourself to and from the various venues.

The locations are always beautiful, our staff are kind and fun and you get some dinner too!

It's a great job for an old hospo gun who has jumped out of the industry but still wants to keep in touch with it all.

- Reliable (if you say you going to turn up, you do!)
- Carry three plates
- Can use your initiative and keep busy

Do you have some spare hours on the weekend and want to earn some good pocket money?

Cargo is on the search for a few catering chefs to assist with weekend (mostly Saturdays) events. We cater weddings and private events at lots of beautiful venues within 1.5 hours from CBD.

You will be paid for travel too!

Hours are usually from approx 3-4pm - 9-10pm. So you still get a lovely Saturday morning to enjoy.

We require availability approx. every second weekend from now until April 2022.
