It was such a pleasure to have Constance Jones from the African Women's Federation of SA come along with the Egyptian Ladies and her team to host an incredible event for the Greek Pensioner's Group.
The African Women's Federation of SA is a community organisation that advocates for the empowerment and advancement of African Women and their families.
It was so lovely to see the different cultures come together in the spirit of community and diversity. Learning new things, discovering unique traditions as well as embracing their differences.
A celebration of culture and community and a platform for capacity building. Creating a better and more inclusive community for all.
On behalf of GCS and The Greek Pensioner's Group, we would like to thank Constance and her team for hosting this successful event.
Hope to have the opportunity to work together in the future and continue to promote diversity and inclusion in our community❤️

Our Multicultural Market Day was held on Sunday the 30th of April 2023 and was a very successful event. The Goodwood Community Team and the Board of Management would like to express their gratitude to everyone who attended and made this event successful. Thank you to all the cultural representatives who participated and to all the volunteers.
This event was to highlight the diversity and richness of cultures within our community and offer opportunity for people to connect, share and learn from one another, as well as offer support to our members by giving back all proceeds received to each cultural representative.
It was wonderful to see a wide range of cultural performances, story telling songs and art & craft exhibitions. There was also a variety of traditional cuisines from different cultural backgrounds.
The live entertainment was a highlight of the day. We had some fantastic performances from various cultural groups that kept the crowd engaged and entertained throughout the event. A huge thank you to all our talented performers who came and gave their time generously to share their passion with the community.
Events like this are vital in creating an inclusive and welcoming community, one where everyone can feel valued and appreciated. The Multicultural Market Day was a testament to the rich diversity of our community, and I look forward to creating more events that celebrate cultural differences that make our community unique.
Once again, a huge thank you to everyone who participated and supported this wonderful event.
This could not have been achieved without all of your support, we are very grateful🙏

Setting up little ones with skills for life

Our Foundation Skills Group at Netley is for autistic children aged 3 to 5.

Each day your little one spends with us, they will be nurtured by our happy team of speech pathologists, occupational therapists, behaviour therapists and educators. The team will work collaboratively with you and your child to achieve goals and develop your little one’s strengths and interests.

Our group runs daily from 9:00am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday during school term. Many of our little ones spend a few days each week with us in addition to childcare or kindergarten.
