Fitzroy Women's Football Club created a little more history yesterday, winning their fourth match on the beat against Woodville South, in their brand new clash kits.
The golden guernseys were purchased earlier in the season after the ladies were successful in applying for the Toyota Good for Footy Gear Grant... and they look awesome!
FWFC has never won four consecutive matches since the club was founded in 2018 and with yesterday's win, they've put themselves into the final four with two matches left in the minor round.

At this very moment one week ago, our A-Grade Men walked off with a ten-goal win against Brahma Lodge to notch up three wins for the club at home on the same day, in front of a crowd of supporters and past premiership players... and the boys were pretty happy about it!
The win completed a twenty-goal turnaround on our Round 3 loss to the Tigers, highlighting just how hard our players, coaches and volunteers have worked to stick together and improve our game over the first half of the season.
Congratulations to Lucas James and Tyler Soroka who played in their first senior wins at Fitzroy and rightly copped a soaking in the middle of the song! Here's to a few more for wins for Lucas, Tyler and all our players in 2022.

The Senior Men have a bye today, but let's remember back a week to last Saturday, when our Reserves team scored a big win over Brahma Lodge 🤔💭🎉

Well done to the Fitzroy Women's footy team, who scored a big win at home against Kilburn yesterday. Plenty of players have returned from injury and illness in the past couple of games and the 'Roys were able to put a strong team on the park this weekend and notch their first victory for 2022.
Thanks to Bridget O'Brien for sending through footage of the team singing the song. Rumour has it, the party lasted throughout the afternoon and well into the evening!

Massive win for the Fitzroy Men's Reserves yesterday, knocking off Para Hills to the tune of 90 points! Most impressively, our boys held their opponents scoreless in the first quarter to run out to a big lead early in the game. Nobody at the ground can remember the last time our Reserves side shut out a quarter... so it must be ages since it last occurred!
Thanks to injured Tom Daly, who was on hand to catch footage of the boys belting out the song in their clash strips!
