Our Industry Ready programme is the next step and a year-long commitment to becoming a trained florist - ready to step into a flower shop or open your own business. Throughout the year, many opportunities arise to assist Vanessa directly for weddings and large scale public installations. Less than a month until we are back in the studio and a place just opened up in our Industry Ready program for 2022! Industry Ready is planned for professional development and the course structure will provide you with the knowledge and technical skills to become a successful florist. You will learn how to create stunning arrangements from retail to event floristry, identify flowers, pricing and quoting, ordering from wholesalers and design large scale installations as a team. Students graduate with not only floristry techniques, but a portfolio full of floristry work, contacts in the industry, how to shop at a flower market and the knowledge to start a business and market yourself. Each term has been personally and carefully designed by experienced florist and mentor Vanessa Miglis. Spots fill quickly as Vanessa keeps her classes small, giving each student the personal attention and encouragement they need to flourish.
