What a line up this FRIDAY!....Come and hear Cindy- Anne as she shares some of her ORIGINAL music with us all...PLUS, guest performances by Greg Were of the band, AMBIGUOUS FOLK...and duo Emilie-Kate & Hannah.

Cindy-Anne Macdonald is a unique Singer / Songwriter who offers an experience of Musical Alchemy. Her songs cleverly illustrate how challenging life experiences can be transformed into the gold nuggets of love peace, wisdom, and even humour.

Emilie Kate is a local, proudly q***r Singer-Songwriter whose original songs tell stories of her life. Easily relatable, often catchy, sometimes emotionally challenging, her music offers honest insights of growing up in northern NSW in a dysfunctional hippy family, falling in love, heartbreak, becoming a mum, parenting and all the weird and wacky parts of life.

Emilie describes her music style as “fairy folk pop” there’s no subject too private and she isn’t afraid to write about the hard parts people often don’t talk about.

Ambiguous Folk is a local band with a great mix of Adelaide musicians, playing folk, light jazz and Indie style music.
The band plays original songs together with humorous and poignant anecdotes from songwriter, Greg Were.

Ambiguous Folk aims to provide a relaxed and vibrant style with material covering a wide range of relevant and esoteric topics.

What a fabulous start to 2025!!! Yesterday's Coffee Group had an excellent turnout, followed by a lively Book Club Session to kick off the week!

We hope everyone has had a restful holiday season. We certainly have enjoyed the break and have come back with our regular events and entertainment raring to go......

Inside Out returns tonight.... a great space to catch up with all your q***r friends, grab a drink or meal, play some games or just chat. Kitchen opens form 6.00pm till 8.30pm, with bar and desserts available till late.

Friday night we're busting to have Cindy-Anne Macdonald back with her ORIGINALS show for Sing with Me ...Cindy will be performing some of her own original music PLUS this month's guests include Ambiguous Folk, a local band with a great mix of Adelaide musicians, playing folk, light jazz and Indie style music.

The band plays original songs and come with humorous and poignant anecdotes from songwriter, Greg Were.

Ambiguous Folk aims to provide a relaxed and vibrant style with material covering a wide range of relevant and esoteric topics. The band comprises Greg Were - singer/song-writer, acoustic guitar Spiro Kolovos - fretless double bass / electric bass Jean-Pierre Calabretto - harmonica, acoustic guitar Plus other guest artists.

Talented duo Emily-Kate and Hannah will also be performing!!

We also welcome Adelaide Leather & Fe**sh back to Diverse-City this Saturday Night for another year of very successful Fe**sh Social nIghts..... Dinner & Drinks from 6.00pm...till late. No need to book, all members of the kink, leather & latex communities welcome.

As some of you may already know, Diverse-City has begun working to support a number of our related community groups....In December we partnered with our new friends at The Q***r Society to deliver a very successful Quiz Night Fundraiser....

Thanks to our wonderful Paula from Paula Holyoake Healing for this delightful video of Diverse-City’s first Q***r Christmas Market last week. A fabulous day by the stallholders, musicians, face painters, and everyone we’ve attended throughout the day!!! We’ll certainly do it again next year 😀😀😀

Our closing event for 2024!!!!!!! Come on girls, put that office work, studying, pressie buying, house cleaning, Xmas lunch planning to one side for a day and have a night out - you deserve it!!!!!

DJ Jackie will be spinning the music, there will be dancing & CIndy-Anne will be our special guest with a fun segment in the middle, so grab some Dutch Courage and Jackie will close out the night with more great dance music!!!!

Come on in from 11-3pm , there will be music, face painting, Christmas goodies, jewellery, clothing, belts, scarves, trinkets, fidget toys, bags, Pride homewares…. Great food, coffee, bar….
