Music on Flinders is a vibrant pop-up music venue offering free lunch time gigs every Monday from 12.30 -1pm. Music on Flinders offers an eclectic offering of music ranging from folk,rock,classical,jazz and pop performed by soloists, duos, ensembles, bands and choirs. Many of Adelaide's original artists get to showcase their music and build their following. You can bring your lunch,pull up a chair

under the beautiful shady trees and enjoy this wonderful event all for free every Monday. Music on Flinders is an initiative of the Pilgrim Uniting Church and is fully funded by the good folks of the church.

This coming Monday February 17th at 12.30 -1pm, Music on Flinders welcomes back singer/songwriter Forte'. Forté is a mindful South Australian singer /songwriter/guitarist who creates positive meaningful folk-rock music for social change. His mission is to create a world of authentic, courageous and empathetic men and women using coaching, education and music.
Forté has spent the past year traveling Europe on a folk music pilgrimage and returns to Adelaide with new songs and stories from the road. Expect spontaneous collaboration, new singalong songs and meaningful lyrical acoustic music.

Palmer & Co have been performing together for the last nine years, bringing rich, live music to venues across Australia. The duo delivers an authentic, high-energy performance with a mix of original tracks and beloved covers. With over 30 years of musical experience Palmer and Co have crafted a unique sound that resonates with audiences.

Andy and Marta launched Music on Flinders for 2025 today inside Pilgrim church with heavenly harmonies and hauntingly beautiful guitar playing. Music on Flinders will be launching the brand new 2025 Summer/Autumn program with the award winning folk duo Andy and Marta this coming Monday February 3rd at 12.30pm.
Andy and Marta have been singing together for fifteen years. Starting off learning songs by the Everly Brothers and then inspired by the Americana of Gillian Welch, they now sing their own brand of acoustic folk.
Sharing a love of harmony and a passion for songwriting and performing live, they have recorded 4 studio albums and one live album to date.
Due to the forecast hot weather Music on Flinders will be held inside the air-conditioned Pilgrim Church.

Music on Flinders returns to Flinders Street with a fabulous line up of artists in February. Award winning folk duo Marta and Andy will be launching our new 2025 Summer/Autumn season on Monday February 3rd at 12.30 -1pm. Palmer and Co. will be gracing the stage on Monday February 10th, the irrepressible Forte' will be performing on Monday February 17th and the musical story-teller Fergus Maximus will be weaving his magic on Monday February 24th.

Celebrating 12 amazing years of bringing live music to Flinders Street on Mondays with the conclusion of Music on Flinders for 2024. It has been a stellar year with so many wonderful performances. Thanks to the generous and talented musicians who have performed with passion and style. Thanks to Pete and Kerry Arthur, Richard Palmer and CO, Soul Trader, Scott Rathman Jnr, Buffalo Drive, Sienna Hart, Gene Phoa, Casey Thompson and Dingo, Jen Lush and Steve Lennox, Cloudy Davey, Sue Baker, Sevenfold, David Robinson, Fergus Maximus, Will Metzer and Verity Skye and David Rogers.
Thanks also to the dedicated behind the scenes team of Geoff Hurst, Peter Farley, Bruce Skinner and Peter Cranwell. Music on Flinders is incredibly grateful for the faithful and ongoing support and funding by Pilgrim Uniting Church. We'll be back with a brand new Summer/Autumn season in 2025 so watch this space!

We ended Music on Flinders for 2024 with an absolutely stunning performance by Cloudy Davey inside the beautiful Pilgrim church. Cloudy performed a collection of gorgeous songs including Hymn to Her by The Pretenders, Cover Me With Sunshine by Pink, Say That You Love Me by Fleetwood Mac and Somewhere Only We Know by Keane. Cloudy performed with her trademark warmth and artistry.

It has been an amazing Spring/ Summer season with so many talented, passionate and generous performers gracing the Music on Flinders stage. Big warm hearted thanks to Scott Rathman Jnr, David Rogers, Gene Phoa, Sienna Hart, Jen Lush and Steve Lennox, Casey Thompson and Dingo, Richard Palmer and CO, Buffalo Drive, Verity Skye and Will Metzer and Cloudy Davey. The behind the scenes heroes once again were absolute legends! Big thanks to Geoff Hurst and Peter Farley on sound and Bruce Skinner and Peter Cranwell on stage set up. Cloudy Davey will be singing us out for 2024 at Music on Flinders this coming Monday December 16th from 12.30 -1pm. Cloudy Davey is a singer/songwriter based in the Barossa Valley. Described as a singer with both sweetness and grit, Cloudy has shared her love of song all over the country, lending her warm tones in many collaborations.
A genuinely diverse Diva of rich talent, Cloudy Davey’s refreshingly original music is a wonderfully eclectic mix of musical temperaments that draw from both traditional and contemporary roots.

Singer/songwriters Will Metzer and Verity Skye come together as a dynamic duo. With Verity's beautiful and versatile vocals alongside Will's brilliance on the keyboard and crooning vocals, this musical pairing is guaranteed to enthrall and entertain.
Will is a singer/songwriter and pianist based in Adelaide with a wealth of performance experience. Will is the front man and manager of Jazz It Up a music performance agency and band. This coming Monday December 2nd Aussie rock band Buffalo Drive will be rocking Flinders Street at Music on Flinders from 12.30 -1pm.
Life’s been good to me’ on Polydor climbed to #8 on the 5AD charts, which was pretty good for local rock/harmony band Buffalo Drive.
After winning the 1973 ‘Live Act’ 5KA Rock Award at the Festival Theatre they toured South Australia city and country; Melbourne, Perth and Sydney; schools, churches, festivals, pubs and clubs.
They were together (6 piece then 4 piece) for 4 frantic years before they went their separate ways, often musical. 2 members (Valdis & Hayden) have died, 4 are still alive and kicking - David, (Graham), Rodney (Bods), Vello and Rod. Buffalo Drive in its revived format are joined by guitarist and singer Peter Farley and singer Georgina Nou.

Next Monday November 25th Richard Palmer & Co will be performing at Music on Flinders from 12.30 -1pm.
Richard Palmer and Co is an original band (playing both original and cover songs), with Ian Slade on bass and backing vocals, Keith Ellison on drums,Nigel Palmer on keyboards and vocals and singer songwriter Richard Palmer on guitar and vocals.
All three musicians have been involved in the South Australian music scene for decades. Having all been friends through out their individual music careers, they’ve always been a supportive community. The meaning of “Co” for them is Community.
Richard Palmer & Co are now playing venues including pubs, wineries, cafes, festivals and a host of other options.
Their current repertoire include over 20 original and over 30 cover songs.

Thanks to the super talented Dingo and Casey Thompson for a fantastic performance today at Music on Flinders.With gorgeous harmonies and rip roaring guitar Dingo and Casey performed an amazingly eclectic selection of songs including Stevie Wonder’s Superstition, You Were Made for Loving Me by KISS, Night Fever by The Bee Gees and ABBA’s Dancing Queen. DIngo and Casey Thompson will be performing at Music on Flinders this coming Monday November 18th from 12.30 -1pm. Casey Thomson is a South Australian composer and performer. She has performed solo and with a variety of groups over the past 15 years. Her writing reflects her wide taste in music and she is currently recording an album of jazz/rock/pop songs. Casey has written, produced and performed in Lowground, a musical retelling of Grimm's Rapunzel.
Casey is joined by singer/guitarist Dingo who adds spine tingling harmonies and rip-roaring rhythm guitar to the mix.
Dingo is a singer and guitarist from Adelaide. He plays in a number of different bands and styles from rock to jazz to folk. His favourite colour is a sort of shade of bluey green and he likes to eat Kim Chi, but never on a Sunday.
Music on Flinders is a free pop up music concert situated at the shady forecourt of Pilgrim Church 12 Flinders Street in the city.Everyone is welcome!

Jen Lush and Steve Lennox produced a spine tingling performance today at Music on Flinders. The combination of their two melodic voices singing drop dead gorgeous songs interlaced with spine tingling harmonies was an absolute treat!
