Music on Flinders is a vibrant pop-up music venue offering free lunch time gigs every Monday from 12.30 -1pm. Music on Flinders offers an eclectic offering of music ranging from folk,rock,classical,jazz and pop performed by soloists, duos, ensembles, bands and choirs. Many of Adelaide's original artists get to showcase their music and build their following. You can bring your lunch,pull up a chair

under the beautiful shady trees and enjoy this wonderful event all for free every Monday. Music on Flinders is an initiative of the Pilgrim Uniting Church and is fully funded by the good folks of the church.

This coming Monday December 9th Music on Flinders welcomes Verity Skye and Will Metzer back to stage to perform their effervescent and entertaining music. Singer/songwriters Will Metzer and Verity Skye come together as a dynamic duo. With Verity's beautiful and versatile vocals alongside Will's brilliance on the keyboard and crooning vocals, this musical pairing is guaranteed to enthrall and entertain.
Will is a singer/songwriter and pianist based in Adelaide with a wealth of performance experience. Will is the front man and manager of Jazz It Up a music performance agency and band. Jazz It Up is Adelaide’s biggest corporate and wedding bands. Will is the consummate entertainer with abundant talent as a singer and pianist
Verity Skye is an amazing talent. This singer, songwriter, musician and visual artist is deeply connected with and passionate about issues of social justice. Verity has a powerful message, brilliant music and an amazing voice.
Verity and Will be performing from 12.30 -1pm on the forecourt of Pilgrim Church 12 Flinders Street.

Today at Music on Flinders the irrepressible Buffalo Drive performed their good time Aussie rock and brought smiles all round to the appreciative audience. The band delivered their irresistible brand of rock laced with 5 part harmonies and rip roaring solos on guitar and keyboards.

This coming Monday December 2nd Aussie rock band Buffalo Drive will be rocking Flinders Street at Music on Flinders from 12.30 -1pm.
Life’s been good to me’ on Polydor climbed to #8 on the 5AD charts, which was pretty good for local rock/harmony band Buffalo Drive.
After winning the 1973 ‘Live Act’ 5KA Rock Award at the Festival Theatre they toured South Australia city and country; Melbourne, Perth and Sydney; schools, churches, festivals, pubs and clubs.
They were together (6 piece then 4 piece) for 4 frantic years before they went their separate ways, often musical. 2 members (Valdis & Hayden) have died, 4 are still alive and kicking - David, (Graham), Rodney (Bods), Vello and Rod. Buffalo Drive in its revived format are joined by guitarist and singer Peter Farley and singer Georgina Nou.

Next Monday November 25th Richard Palmer & Co will be performing at Music on Flinders from 12.30 -1pm.
Richard Palmer and Co is an original band (playing both original and cover songs), with Ian Slade on bass and backing vocals, Keith Ellison on drums,Nigel Palmer on keyboards and vocals and singer songwriter Richard Palmer on guitar and vocals.
All three musicians have been involved in the South Australian music scene for decades. Having all been friends through out their individual music careers, they’ve always been a supportive community. The meaning of “Co” for them is Community.
Richard Palmer & Co are now playing venues including pubs, wineries, cafes, festivals and a host of other options.
Their current repertoire include over 20 original and over 30 cover songs.

Thanks to the super talented Dingo and Casey Thompson for a fantastic performance today at Music on Flinders.With gorgeous harmonies and rip roaring guitar Dingo and Casey performed an amazingly eclectic selection of songs including Stevie Wonder’s Superstition, You Were Made for Loving Me by KISS, Night Fever by The Bee Gees and ABBA’s Dancing Queen. As you can imagine there was much singing along and dancing!

DIngo and Casey Thompson will be performing at Music on Flinders this coming Monday November 18th from 12.30 -1pm. Casey Thomson is a South Australian composer and performer. She has performed solo and with a variety of groups over the past 15 years. Her writing reflects her wide taste in music and she is currently recording an album of jazz/rock/pop songs. Casey has written, produced and performed in Lowground, a musical retelling of Grimm's Rapunzel.
Casey is joined by singer/guitarist Dingo who adds spine tingling harmonies and rip-roaring rhythm guitar to the mix.
Dingo is a singer and guitarist from Adelaide. He plays in a number of different bands and styles from rock to jazz to folk. His favourite colour is a sort of shade of bluey green and he likes to eat Kim Chi, but never on a Sunday.
Music on Flinders is a free pop up music concert situated at the shady forecourt of Pilgrim Church 12 Flinders Street in the city.Everyone is welcome!

Jen Lush and Steve Lennox produced a spine tingling performance today at Music on Flinders. The combination of their two melodic voices singing drop dead gorgeous songs interlaced with spine tingling harmonies was an absolute treat!

The wonderful alt folk duo Jen Lush and Steve Lennox will be gracing the stage at Music on Flinders next Monday November 11th at 12.30 -1pm.
Local singer/songwriters Jen Lush and Steve Lennox come together as a charismatic duo swapping songs and bringing their influences together in evocative, darkly folk, alt country songs drenched in harmonies and storytelling.
Lush and Lennox have been following their own rich musical paths and have recently collaborated on Steve’s recent album ‘In the Lighter Dark’, a song cycle based on his family’s lighthouse keeping story. Together think Calexico meets Simon and Garfunkel.

Today at Music on Music we had the absolute pleasure of hosting the wonderful and talented Sienna Hart. Sienna performed an array of awesome songs that the audience sang along to with great gusto. There were smiles all around and even a bit of dancing!

There is a last minute change in the line up for today's Music on Flinders. Due to illness Nice Verdes are unable to perform and in their place Sienna Hart will grace the Music on Flinders stage.
Singer songwriter Sienna Hart is a soothing cocktail of silky vocals and elegant groove. In the vein of Sade or Lana Del Rey, she entwines soulful melodies with captivating stories to open wide a timeless world.
With a strong background in writing adult contemporary and indie pop songs for several Australian recording artists, Sienna is emerging now with a voice of her own. Her fresh debut EP Don’t Stop has already hit over 15 million streams on Tik Tok and is rapidly garnering attention on all major streaming platforms. Sienna performs regularly to great applause as anticipation rises for her upcoming debut album.
Sienna and Nat together create an unforgettable sound laced with spine tingling harmonies and intricate and melodic guitar sounds.
Sienna will be performing from 12.30 -1pm out on the forecourt of Pilgrim Church 12 Flinders Street in the city.

This coming Monday November 4th indie folk duo Nice Verdes will be performing at Music on Flinders from 12.30 -1pm. Nice Verdes began performing together in 2003, and have always been on some kind of adventure in search of new inspiration and music since. Their music is a sunny and uplifting mixture of originals and traditional folk music from Cuba, Colombia and beyond. They play combinations of Cuban tres, accordions, guitar, harmonica and vocals.
Inspired musically by their travels around the world, they defy genres to create their own indie world folk.
Over the years the duo have been on the road in Australia and Canada playing numerous venues and festivals. In Australia festival highlights include Cygnet, Wallaby Creek, Nannup and Illawarra, and in Canada, Kispiox , Arts Wells, Robson Valley, Edge of the World and Quadrapalooza. They were also invited in 2017 to perform in Valledupar, Colombia at the UNESCO declared festival ‘Encuentro Vallenato Femenino’. They have also completed tours of Europe and New Zealand and played cafes and bars on the streets of Latin America.
Nice Verdes have released four original albums, ‘Succulence’ in 2008, ‘Brontosaurus’ in 2014, 'Bouquet of birds' in 2016, and ‘feet in the ocean’ released in 2020.
They have always been drawn to collaborating with artists from all countries and they enjoy most of all the parties and festivals that celebrate a strong sense of community and equality in diversity.

It was a beautiful day in the city today and Music on Flinders had the pleasure of welcoming Gene Phoa back for another encore performance. With the touch of a finger and a deft tap of his foot, Gene created bass lines, percussive beats, melodic chordal riffs and soaring lead guitar parts to accompany his singing. A true one man band! Thanks Gene for bringing your awesome original tunes for us to enjoy at Music on Flinders.

This coming Monday October 28th Gene Phoa will be gracing the stage and performing his original songs at Music on Flinders from 12.30 -1pm. GENE PHOA is an emerging alternative singer-songwriter based in Adelaide, South Australia. Pairing a luminous voice with infectious hooks and anthemic shots of truth, he transforms malady into melody to find the light within the human experience.
Classically trained in piano throughout childhood, Gene picked up the guitar in a teenage bid to emulate his indie/alt heroes. Moving to Sydney in the hopes of landing a job in the music business, he detoured into the worlds of PR, startups and advertising. That was, until he left it all to go backpacking and an impromptu open mic night in India reminded him that the stage was where he was supposed to be.
Despite falling ill while abroad, Gene stayed committed to learning all aspects of the craft and finds inspiration in the likes of the Arctic Monkeys and Panic! at the Disco. His original song "Folklore War" took out the lyrics category at the 2019 SCALA Festival of Original Music and he will be sharing his yet-to-be-released debut of works, “Young Love Days” - a collection of lovelorn guitar ballads for the hopelessly romantic.
