A veteran of the Australian music and entertainment industry, Dean Bird is an accomplished singer/songwriter, high profile entertainer, music producer/arranger, studio musician, event and tour manager/promoter. Dean's music shows consist of popular soft rock, blues/roots, country and folk from the 60's omward along with a selection of his own self composed compositions. He's performed at an elite
level having toured Australia and Europe at festivals, concerts, clubs, hotels over many years of active performance and as a solo support act with Finbar Furey, The Dubliners, The Fureys, Gerry and The Pacemakers, Freddie and The Dreamers, Slim Dusty and several more. Australian festivals have included the Tamworth, Port Pirie and Riverland Country Music Festivals, Wintersun and Victor Harbor Rock and Roll Festivals and the Fleurieu, Port Fairy, Victor Harbor and National Folk Festivals. Dean is a proud and passionate supporter of live entertainment and the nurturing of younger upcoming artists. Available as a singer/guitarist for a multitude of occasions and venues.
