Eyeswide Imaging is a small Videography and Photography business run by me, Mia Peronis. Eyeswide Imaging was born at the beginning of 2015, not long after the birth of my son Sebastian. I completed a Bachelor of New Media Arts at James Cook University and am now living the dream, looking after my beautiful kids while working part time doing something I love. I have grown to love filming weddings

and events and producing marketing material for small local businesses. The philosophy behind Eyeswide Imaging is that every moment is special, and as a Videographer and Photographer it is my goal to capture the little moments that may sometimes be overlooked or forgotten. I am available for Photographic and Film projects in Agnes Water and the Bundaberg/ Gladstone region (or anywhere in the world if you'd like to pay my fare).

Excited to meet all my Christmas holiday families for their portraits! I love the energy and dynamics that big family group portraits bring, there is usually a lot of playful banter and often some wrestling and tickle fights 😅 I had heaps of fun with beautiful Codie and her fam ❤️

A connection to nature is an essential part of life here in Agnes water.
Most people I know rarely wear shoes, the kids don't even have to wear them to school.
Sitting or standing on concrete feels so foreign to me now, and makes my body sore.
Have you connected to nature lately?
I love to either dance or do yoga outside at sunrise every day, and try to find time most days to be in my garden or on the beach.
I know Tracie runs a beautiful beach yoga session, I'm yet to make it but one day I'm sure I'll get there!

Last Sunday I had the pleasure of capturing a special ceremony in honour of Tracie, her birth and her connection to the country she has chosen as home.
Soulfully facilitated by Claire and Taurean from Anam Yarra ceremony, it was a sun drenched afternoon full of joy and deep gratitude ❤️‍🔥

I'm not one for exploiting my kids for the gram or showing too much of their lives, but I just had to share these images of our beautiful feathered friends from Stradbroke island.
I'm also not a fan of domesticating wildlife, but these guys were obviously very used to being fed and handled by visitors, and it was an absolute highlight of our stay to have such close contact with these curious and confident animals. Kookaburras are a favourite in our family 🤩

Goooood morning, just, wow the day is flying by.

We had a beautiful sleep in and snuggle on this sunny yet chilling morning, that wind is icy!

This is my last share from my session with Mai last week. This was a creative shoot and something I had had in mind for probably a year. I really learnt a lot from this, about my strengths and weaknesses, constraints with the elements and that even though certain trends come and go, I just love my clean and natural editing style and will never be able to bring myself to add grain to a photo 🤣

Jac and Tom had an undeniable connection going back to their teenage years, and when they reunited in their twenties, they wasted no time sealing that connection with an engagement and shortly after, this beautiful and simple ceremony to celebrate their marriage. Starting with a first look, (which I think Tom was pretty blown away by) the couple then walked down the aisle together to make their promises to each other in front of a small group of close friends and family.
