WHATS ALL THE FUSS?
Have y'all seen Burnt Basque Cheesecake absolutely blowing up the foodie scene lately?
It's a cheese cake that is baked at 210°c to create a crust that colours up quite dark and a soft fluffy interior.
Chef Vic had never made one so decided to give it a crack.
Here's the chefs notes:
Plain (for benchmark)- very light, not overly sweet which is nice. Could do with more cream to give it a softer texture. 7/10
ADDED Biscoff dollop on top to just enhance the experience 9/10
Pandan & vanilla - Subtle floral angle from the flavour additions, again not too sweet. Added extra pandan infused cream to remedy last attempt. Bake was spot on, texture slightly sticky ... absolute perfection! 10/10
