Hello, my lovelies 👋
I have been like a big bear hibernating a lot lately, taking care of my health and well-being.

It takes a lot to slow me down 😜. However, the universe has stopped me in my tracks and forced me to slow down and listen recently. Reminding me I need to be still and address some much needed healing.

So, instead of trying to push forward and get back to work, I have listened to my body and will honour this process, heading off on an eat, love, pray trip to Bali to go within.🙏🌴🪷

It was so beautiful to sit and be still in our creative flow, chatting, laughing, and giving ourselves time to simply be!
So it got me thinking about sharing this experience with you,exploring the idea of creating a workshop that can bring a small group of women together, to connect and create with some expert tips from me to guide your way.

I am so thrilled to be in my pressing studio finishing off a bridal bouquet, starting a new commission, and putting together some special pieces to have in this year's Art trail 🌿

Special shout out to the legendary team , especially Lindsey, who fought hard for me to get these stunning Delphiniums for my couple.

As a country florist, it can be so difficult not to be at the warehouse, picking each and every Bloom for an event. Even when we have ordered what we want for our designs, a month in advance, we may not be able to receive our desired florals, perhaps because mother nature has another plan, the weather changes the growing/picking times, freight issues or customs hold ups. So many variables are at play the week of your special day.

So it's incredibly important for us to have trust in the expert team at our wholesaler. They are our eyes and who we work closely with when it comes to needing to substitute blooms.

You can rest assured that the week leading up to your dream day, you have a team of hard working Vendors on the front line doing everything to bring your day together with ease 😀

Why am I looking back??
Honestly, iv felt a bit stagnant 😬 A feeling that I'm sure you can relate to, right?

So I've been sitting back refecting a lot recently, perhaps it's because my baby bird had now officially flown the nest to start the next chapter her wonderful life, or just cause I'm in the fabulous 50s club 😜 or both, but iv been feeling a shift inside myself.

Looking at this beautiful piece I created, I remember doing it fearlessly and with a reckless abandonment of what anyone would think of it or if it is what I "should" be showing as my creative self. What a freedom to feel💃

I feel like I have been calling this un-apologetic creative woman back, the one who just wants to make Art. Who loves colours, paint and dyes, sparkles, tassels, and interesting textiles, who is an artist and follows her intuition to make magical moments ✨️

ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED with Brighton at the moment, I'm not alone, right??
So needless to say, it's become my muse for a future couples wedding floral vibe, but will be fused with bright barbie pinks for fun.

Iv decided to mix things up a bit when it comes to your floral inspo images 📸 Traditionally, iv always got couples to send photos of florals they love,which is fine, However, I feel that having photos of other creatives bouquets only,can become a bit restrictive in regards to the feelings you wish to evoke on an asthetic level for YOUR day, and to be honest it can get me feeling stuck in my own creativity, the very reason you choose me right!

Moving forward, I want to know how you want your day to feel, what's your vibe, what images you love, movies, places, shapes, outfits, textures,colours, etc... Then, I can do what I truly love and create the florals that match you personally 💝
