Vaughan and the Encore Event Technology Crew creating some incredible lighting on the rock faces shades of blue, purple, gold and red. Tommy Crow (Sunset Dreaming Australia) on the Didgeridoo on the rock ledge creating a palpable experience. Gareth Dawkins and Joey smashing it out with some great acoustic songs all underneath the great expanse of Outback sky.

The Old Quarry is one of the most unique venues in Australia - if in fact, not the world.

The rehabilitated Quarry is a unique venue and major draw card for tourism bringing conference and events to Alice Springs as well as offering The Outback Bush BBQ Dinner and Show for domestic and international visitors.

The Old Quarry has hosted countless events, photo shoots, weddings, and concerts for visitors all over the globe. The venue has a capacity to hold up to 3000 visitors and is a valuable contribution to Outback Central Australia.

A natural amphitheatre The Old Quarry is one of the most beautiful, picturesque outdoor venues in Alice Springs. It can be scenic, yet intimate and is renowned for its peaceful ambience and magnificent natural bush – land setting of rocky hillsides and decorative Quarry Rock. A place where the landscape is captured in colours, and a picture says a thousand words

Visitors marvel at the stunning uninterrupted views of the East MacDonnell Ranges and soaring sandstone walls creating an informal but warm atmosphere. The soft sandstone of the Quarry is used extensively as a natural canvas to project images, film and Aboriginal Art onto the towering rock walls.

Guests experience the ‘Wow’ factor as they experience a sense of space like no other. Located 14kms from the CBD, so close to town and with the privacy of the bush, visitors lose themselves in the open - air setting underneath a great expanse of outback sky - full of stars.

A selection of dining experiences can be arranged from casual to fine dining where the contrast of a rustic bush setting meets grandeur and elegance. Visitors are greeted personally as they walk the hessian ‘red carpet’ in awe of where they are.
