What a weekend!!

Balloons, balloons, balloons and plenty of catering 🥗

A jam packed couple of days for sure. We cooked, carved and delivered 20kg of lamb, prepared salads consisting of nearly 4kg of tomatoes, 1kg of capsicum, nearly 2kg of lettuce plus hot sides made up of 15kg of potato and approximately 2kg of uncooked rice!

Thanks so much to all of our customers for entrusting us with your events. We truly love what we do, even though it’s a lot of work for two people! ❤️

This weekend we had to bring in a third person to assist with a delivery and we’re so grateful for the help. These are the things we do so that you don’t have to stress and worry about your functions! You can’t out a price on that 😊

Shout out and special thanks to our baker friends for the brilliant Elsa cake too - you rock and I’m so thankful for you accommodating the late change. Amazing as always 😋

🕷️ Spider Man themed celebrations for this young man!

It was evident that this boy loved Spidey! When we walked in, he was very excited to see we’d brought Spider Man along for the ride. He had action figures out on the coffee table that he’d been playing with and his smile was from ear to ear!

We love delivering happiness.
Seeing the amazement we can bring to people is nothing short of incredible! I’m forever thankful to everyone who gives us this opportunity by welcoming us into their homes and events.

Last week we had the pleasure of providing happiness in the shape of balloons for this 21st birthday party.

LED lightup numbers - colour changing and various functions. Now available!! These were a huge hit with the clients guests!

The bitch is 21!

If we are a little bit slow at responding over the next few days, please bare with us.

We are dealing with having to help our beautiful boy cross the rainbow bridge, plus we have a teenager with tonsillitis.

Our big boy, his name is Vodka, has lost control of his hind legs overnight. We’re having to carry him around, manage his toileting as best we can and just keep him as comfortable as we can, until we can see the vet tomorrow.

He’s been a part of our family for ten years. His birthday is at the end of the month…but we know he won’t make it that long. It’s just not fair for him and would be selfish of us to try and get him to see it.

Thanks for being patient with us. Tomorrow we won’t be on the phone or responding to messages. We’ll be spending our last few hours with this boof head before we say our final farewells.

BBQ chicken is on the menu for him tonight! The old boy deserves it!!

Over the weekend we helped our client celebrate her husbands fiftieth birthday. It wasn’t very straight forward though!

We had a last minute change of venue due to weather. Moving from their home to the local hall. Not to mention a hospital visit the night before!

We arrived earlier in the day to decorate the hall with balloons, setup lawn games and to setup the grazing table - which the client and their guests devoured!!

We returned later to deliver catering - sooo much catering…
- roast chicken tray x2
- roast pork tray
- roast beef tray
- potato bake
- veggie bake
- lasagne
- chorizo penne pasta
- macaroni & cheese
- fried rice with prawns
- roast vegetables x2
- roast mediterranean vegetables
- potato, egg & bacon salad
- chocolate mudcake
- french vanilla cheesecake
- pavlova with fruit

OMG! So much food…and from all reports, everyone loved every bite!! When we returned to cleanup, there was next to nothing left! I loved seeing this!

Our client wanted live acoustic music for the function. We managed to secure a gig from the brilliant Mike Miller Music and the young but ever so talented Riley and Bailey - you might know Riley from his recent appearances on Australian Idol.

This function was brilliant. We loved working with our client and we delivered everything she’d hoped for and more!!

We’re often asked what we put in our lasagne sauce!

The answer is; LOVE! Lots of love!! 💚🤍❤️

Plus, quality beef mince, carrots, zucchini, onion and other goodness that makes our lasagne truly Italian and absolutely delicious 🤤

Here’s a batch we’ve been preparing this morning. Our sauce takes about 3 hours to cook. We don’t just slap some store bought sauce in with nice and call it a day! Nah, we do things OUR way…the traditional way!

Happy Halloween Appin! We had so many kids drop by for slushies this year. All displayed amazing manners and really had a good time in their costumes. Our community should be so proud. I am!!

Today, we celebrated Josh and said our final goodbyes 🩷💜 You might recall the fundraiser we ran in an attempt to help his family through their grief. We raised over $1,000 through purchases by the community. We met with Josh’s family who have insisted we put the money back into the community. So, that’s what we will do…in honour of Josh! Whatever we decide to do, will be in Josh’s name…not ours! We never intended to profit from the fundraiser so will ensure that the money goes towards something that Josh would have loved. If the community has any suggestions, we’d love you to comment it here. All suggestions will be considered and consulted with his family. Thank you to everyone who showed their support.
