HOLIDAY PICS of Gary & myself in beautiful Sri Lanka! This was our first overseas trip by ourselves without kids and we had an incredible time! Sri Lanka is beautiful and the people welcomed us with open arms. We climbed Lion Rock up to the Kings Fortress dating back to 400 AD. Over 1,200 steps to get to the top, and absolutely worth the view. A not to be missed experience! Love this Country!!
CONGRATULATIONS Tayla & Zee! We met at George's Gourmet Pizzeria in Norwest last night and began the marriage journey! The place was packed and the pizza aroma was amazing! Late August I was honoured to MC for my cousin Elizabeth's book launch. Elizabeth worked at RNSH for over 40 years as a nurse and midwife. Spilt Milk came about after working with woman and families and guiding them through the joy and heartache of breastfeeding. A collection of honest and heartwarming stories from more than 80 woman collected over five years. I was blown away by the compassion, love and opportunity for woman to be able to pick this book up in the middle of the night and connect with stories from many different breastfeeding journeys. Speakers included a Gynecologist, the founding CEO of Gidget Foundation Aust & Chair of Hornsby Ku Ring G*i Women's Shelter along with a member of Zonta International and woman telling their stories. Marrying Millie & Jono back in June in a romantic, intimate ceremony with close family beside them was a special moment for me. Love was in the air and champagne flowed afterwards. When choosing your Wedding venue check out how the venue will look after your PLAN B if you need to move the Marriage Ceremony inside. Is there enough space for the Bridal Party and number of guests? Not being disappointed on the day helps if you have this discussion. This footage was taken at the Hawkesbury Race Club and they did an amazing job of looking after my couple when the ceremony needed to be moved inside.
