Hi, I’m Glenda Davis, a calligrapher and chalkboard lettering artist. I started my working life drawing and hand lettering engineering plans. My interest in lettering, and writing in general, led to a diploma in showcard and ticket writing, and I continued on to study graphic design. I guess I was destined to write on things in one form or another. I have years of experience in the business of wed

dings and celebration stationery, corporate and event work. My signature style is appreciated by those seeking a quality, hand written service. My calligraphy and lettering reflects my love of history; the beauty of hand written letters, addressed envelopes and hand written documents. It’s been a hand lettered sign writing couple of weeks! Up ladders and single signs sitting down! This one for .pies in North Narrabeen was great fun! Painting with a little bit colour for a change with the heat factor of chillies and logo! All the pie signs complete with ingredients (so the staff don’t have to tell everyone what’s in them) come off the board when they sell out! Clever owner Dean, now has his signage sorted! Go and try one!! I really want to, after writing all about them!!

Purple ink and old school vibe logo style for these fun place cards at a Yahoo! Launch. Adapting your lettering to a logo style is always a challenge. Let’s do an exclamation mark after each name like the logo! Fun idea!
