What an absolute dream this was!
My vision for this shoot was to create a look different to a "typical" wedding, one that oozed fun and showcased some incredible talent from the Bunbury area.
I find that a lot of lovers flock to the South West for their love fest but are quick to bypass Bunbury, but with the right team, you can create magic.
The keywords for this styled shoot were fun, bright, retro elopement, and I think we nailed it!

POV : You're looking for some banging wedding attire but don't want to wear the traditional white dress and suit but have no idea where to start?!
Look at non-traditional stores; boutiques, second-hand stores, rental stores, or maybe even your own closet. Just because it's your wedding day, it doesn't mean you have to spend a pretty penny on some new fits, but it does mean you want to be comfortable and uniquely you.
Consider this such as patterns, colour, length, embellishments, and cuts when trying on your potential fits.
If bright colours are your thing but you want to opt for a more traditional outfit, consider adding pops of colour through your accessories; veil, shoes, bows, ties and jewellery.
Maybe you love black, well go and grab that gorgeous black gown you have been eyeing off!
Im a big believer in your wedding day reflecting exactly who you are as people and as a couple, so if that's your thing, stick around for more tips and inspo stick around, I love having you here ❤️

Ever wonder what I get up to on a normal, non wedding day? Well, truthfully, it changes every single day, but I suppose that's the joy of being a SAHM and business owner.
A typical day for me starts around 5/6am and ends at about 930pm. In between, it is usually kids' activities galore, our daily walk/run to the park to see the ducks (Summers favourite animal atm), audiobook listening, wedding admin and meetings, general household chores, more playing and entertaining, cooking, shopping, random dance parties in the living room and some days working a part time job.
And that's all before I make magic happen on your wedding day.
Would I change anything? Oh heck no, I love every minute, especially my first tea of the day or a quick read of a book before bed!
What moment of your day do you love the most?

So, you're trying to decide between a sitdown or a cocktail reception but have no idea which way you should go. Well, lucky for you, Im serving up some of the top pros for choosing a cocktail reception.
- Social Atmosphere. Cocktail weddings are typically a lot less formal, and they allow guests and lovers to roam freely throughout the night.
- Flexibility. If you want a no fuss reception with minimal time restrictions, then a cocktail reception might be for you. With a formal sitdown meal, we have to run a pretty tight ship to make sure everyone is fed on time and ready for the rest of the night to flow comfortably.
- Food, food, food. Typically, but not always, there is a large variety of food to go around. This gives couples variety when choosing their canapés and larger bites, think mexican, italian, and burgers!
- Cost effective. If you want to save a bit of money on hire items, this might be something to consider as you will need less of everything. Some examples are fewer chairs, tables, plates, cutlery, glassware, napkins the list goes on.
Keep an eye out for my pros on sitdown receptions to really help you decide which way to go.

Planning a wedding is tough, but choosing the size and type of wedding can be even harder!
Some common words that you might see when describing wedding sizes are;
Elopement - which typically involves the lovers and 2 witnesses. These might be friends or family or could simply be your epic photography team.
Micro - very dependent on the venue and their packages however its usually between 20-50 guests.
Medium - guest numbers between 50 - 100, think friends and immediate family.
Large - guest numbers between 100-150. Typically, you will see friends, immediate family, and extended family at these weddings.
Xlarge - guest numbers over 150. This definitely isn't the norm. However, it makes for a hell of a party.
No matter the size of wedding you choose, remember to make it uniquely yours by focusing on the things that matter most to you and your lover.

And just like that, 2023 is coming to a close.
It's hard to believe this is only my third year running EHEM, and I just want to say a massive thanks to all of the vendors I have met along the way. You have all been absolutely incredible, and I have learnt so much from each of you.
This year, I embarked on the crazy task of running a small business while navigating motherhood, and let's just say it was a wild ride, but I would not change a thing.
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and get to enjoy some downtime with your families. While I am taking a break from 23rd Dec - 2 Jan, I will be checking emails sporadically in between beach days, family hangs, and cocktail drinking if you need to get a hold of me.
2024 is going to be another wild ride with some exciting changes heading your way, so watch this space!
