🎄 The final Christmas delivery has just been made, and now it's time to spend some much-needed quality time with my family.

🌱 2024 truly has been the year of connection. We've had an amazing journey, hosting weaving and vase arrangement workshops, private functions, market stalls locally and in Werribee, floral and sips, and welcoming so many new members into our flax tribe. A special shoutout to Vanessa, who joined us weekly and has blossomed into such a key part of Marama Flax Creations. ✨

If I could thank you all individually, I would. But with over 1.4K of you now in our flax community, the connections we've built together are beyond words. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for liking our posts, commenting, sharing our events and products, and supporting us by purchasing custom made items. Your support has meant the world to us and has allowed me to show my tamariki/children the importance of work-life balance, and the beauty of watching their parents live their dream careers. 🙏

💕 Wishing you all a peaceful, grounding Christmas filled with aroha/love, and a safe and joyful New Year. We can't wait to continue this journey with you in 2025! As we approach the end of the year, the holiday season brings a mix of joy and, for many, a fair amount of stress. Christmas time can be filled with the pressure of making everything perfect, buying the right gifts, or meeting everyone's expectations. But in the midst of it all, it's so important to take a step back and care for yourself and for those around you. 💕

🌿 Take moments to breathe, reground, and remind yourself that it's okay to pause. It's okay to not have everything figured out. Look after your mental and emotional health, and don't forget to lean on each other. 👯‍♀️

Ngā Mātai Pūrua Inc. Kapa Haka Showcase was everything and more! 💙🤍

🌱 We traveled three and a half hours (one way) to be immersed in the heart of our Māori culture. It was a day filled with whanau (family), new connections, and the powerful presence of performers who gave their all on stage. To witness our tamariki (children), hungry for their culture, was truly inspiring.

A humbling experience, one that refills the cup and fuels my passion to keep doing what I do, especially living in regional Victoria, so far from home and culture. 💫

One of our large vase creations was presented as a gift to celebrate the couple with the longest relationship. While five couples reached the 30-year milestone, it was a remarkable couple who have been together for 58 years that received our harakeke arrangement. 58 years! What an incredible achievement. 💕

🙏 Ngā mihi nui (thank you very much) to Tyson and all the amazing organisers who made this day possible. It was an absolute privilege to attend.
