*****Dapper Wrapper Closing*****

This is a tough post, however, I’ve made a very hard decision to wrap up Dapper Wrapper completely and effective immediately.

This decision has been made quickly but definitely not lightly as I have loved every minute of running my own business, and getting to know so many amazing members of the community and watching like-minded businesses grow.

Nine years of incredible customers and a chance to work while being close to my babies (many times in my PJs on the couch, laptop out front and my kids digging in next to me... ). It’s all Will has ever known since I got back out on the road for deliveries with a baby at only 6 days old (although I'm still convinced my business surged so everyone could have cuddles ha ha).

However, for the foreseeable future my family require more of me. Please know everyone is ok but as a Mum there is no question in my mind that diverting my full attention to them is what we all need right now.

All toppers on my books will be honoured, however, I won’t be taking any further orders. I’ll be in touch with everyone with a pending request (if I haven’t already reached out) to talk about the creation and collection of those items.

Custom edible images! We can do any image you like and they can be used in ways you may not have considered. For example… a few years back I was totally stumped for how to colour a mexican poncho… hello edible image 😍🙌

Many of you may not know, but I used to make ALOT of cakes. This one just popped up in my socials as a memory from a few years back.

But alas, as with a lot of mums I talk to in this biz, as the kids get older our time is severely restricted 🤣

But it’s one of the reasons, I believe, people come back to me for toppers time and time again.

I know cakes. That’s why my business is cake toppers.

I can hear what you’re saying you want to achieve, I’ll actively make recommendations and even give options for pricing so we can stay within your budget (which is definitely important given the cost of eggs and butter that are going into the cake).

It’s safe to say I’ve been there and done that, burning the midnight oil (in fact midnight was a good night 🤣).

I also understand the value of edible images and cut card toppers and how quickly they can get your cake finished and perfect.

These days I lack time to make my figurines ahead of time like my friend Hombre En Un Poncho here, but I also know the edible images and cut card toppers are still really good cost effective, time saving alternative ❤️.

🙋‍♀️Hiya! A quick note to say I have received quite a few messages and orders and I’m getting to them as quickly as I can. I’ll be playing some catch-up tonight so I hope most people will hear from me today.

After a set back in December our little dude finally got his birthday party on Sunday 🙌.

My brief was “the Lloyd’s head with the red guy on top, gold glitter, and rainbow throwing things wizzing around his head”. We compromised with holographic throwing things and let’s just say, thank goodness for the edible images for the eyes 🤣🤣🤣

So many parents when messaging me apologise because their kids have a very specific idea of what they want. I just want to say I do truely get it!!!

I hear you guys, I feel you guys! And I know the joy from our kids when we get it right… so… hit me with their every heart’s desire because this too shall pass and we want to give them the moon while we still can❤️

Happy New Year! I'm back open and loving getting lots of cool designs prepared for you all - whoop!

Just a reminder I will be taking another week off at the end of this school holidays to spend some time with the family (20-29 Jan inclusive). All orders for that week can be collected on or before Thursday 19 January 2022, or when I reopen on Monday 30 January. I am so grateful, from the bottom of my heart, for everyone's flexibility and enabling me to balance work and family!

To help with planning, my online calendar has been updated through until the first week of Term 2 so you can have a browse through and make some notes in your cake diaries as well, but it follows a similar pattern to last year - one week off every school holidays.

It was such an honour to help a client with this special topper for Betty’s 90th. We had a good lead in time so we could tweak and make it perfect and classy 😍. You can’t see from the pic but there is a clear sheet of acrylic to give it that window port vibe!
