Food is my passion, one of them! And I’m currently studying Ayurvedic Lifestyle Nutrition which looks at the process of digestion, the components of food, why spices are integral for your digestion & the importance of good, balanced metabolism.

This time of year brings the ripening of delicious apples in the south west. Autumn and it’s cool, dry, mobile qualities means it’s time to slow down and eat warming nourishing and grounding foods. Save your salads for summer or swap them for warm roasted pumpkin with metabolic increasing spices like cumin and cooked greens.

If your body is toxic from over eating, drinking alcohol or coffee or consuming too many sugars and sweet things then now is the best time to detox. The pancake is a special mix of herbs with gut mobilising ingredients, besan flour, savoury yeast flakes and flaxseed. It reminded me of a rye but gluten free 😊

I tell her it makes her feel happier, sleep better, and have more energy- not focusing on weight or body image but how it affects her mind. ❤️
