My process for creating PAPA

Clay sculpt with a silicone moulding process.
Cut down in to smaller pieces to avoid undercuts.
Block silicone mould with cut seam.
SD Foam (flexible urethane) cast pour for the head, ears and lower jaw
Algernate cast of eyes, nose and brows to produce in car putty. Sanded and polished for gloss finish.
Felt lining for ears and mouth.
Blue pattern for fur fabrication.
Combination of machine stitch, hand sewing and glue for attaching.
Final fabrication from two toned toy fur.

⭐️ FABULOUS NEWS - PALYA ⭐️

Philmah’s WerqShop has been invited with my gorgeous crew of Divas to Produce and Direct a show production for Fregon Anangu School.

The 15 minute piece will work closely with the Elders of the community and students from the school to create a show stopping dance piece to enter the ERNABELLA DANCE FESTIVAL in September.

Combining traditions with contemporary dance culture plus some theatrical arts, we are all very excited to help the school walk away with deadly pride, and maybe a trophy!

Over a six week period Philmah’s Werqshop was taken to APY Country 🖤💛❤️ where I was in charge of creating Puppets and teaching the kids how to perform with them. All created for the filming of short films on wellness and wellbeing. Working out in the lands with the community and kids was an adventure I’ll never forget.
