Big congratulations to Andrew on achieving this amazing milestone. 👏

Volunteers are essential members of our team, helping with lunches, working in the garden and happily doing many other small jobs we ask of them. Like Andrew, many of our volunteers are also doing great work for other organisations and for the community.

Andrew's milestone started in Geelong in November 1980 in his second year of working. He donated whole blood 26 times, then changed to donating plasma another 74 times. He was then asked to go on the Anti-D program which means you have the RHD factor in your blood. He started on the Anti-D program about 21 years ago, giving 350 Anti-D plasma donations to mums and babies. Note: there are only 200 Anti-D donors in Australia which each donation is broken down into 18 injections for mums and babies.

We think this is absolutely fabulous and shows what a wonderful person Andrew is 🥰. Thank you from all the mums and bubs you have helped over the years. ❤️

Another fantastic harmony festival done!
It wouldn't be possible to create an evening like this without the support of our amazing volunteers. The huge amount of time put in for the food, preparation and set up. We say thank you. The project is a joint collaboration with Ballarat Community Health , Ballarat Neighbourhood Centre at Sebastopol and Our Kitchen Social Enterprise .

Last Friday at our Community Lunch we celebrated International Women's Day.

Our guest speaker was our lovely Mary Douglas, who made us proud by winning the 'City of Ballarat Seniors Award - Ageing Well Award'. Thank you Mary for saying yes to being our Guest Speaker. You did a brilliant job!

We also celebrated Brandon's 18th birthday.

What an amazing day of celebrations!
