5th November turned out to be another great Day for us "The Ballina Country Music Club". The band "SMOKE HOUSE" kept everyone entertained. (Great job Boys, I know from a Walk-up artist's point of view it's great to play with pros). The standard of Walk-up artists was, as it always is, very high. I received many comments to that effect[take a bow]. Our Guest Artists were the spectacular" SHELLY JONES BAND" for which I had many great comments from members. Well Done Shelly and Lester. We are all looking forward to your next visit.
The stats for the day were as follows: 155 CMC followers + 6 Band Members and 2 guest artists.

Next Country Music Day will be our Xmas Bash. Remember the theme is to wear your favorite Xmas gear Go on Dress up!.

The date will be Sunday 3rd December,in the main auditorium BALLINA R. S. L CLUB
We will start at 10.45 am, Day Light Savings time.

The band Is the Fabulous ANNE BILL AND THE 2 J's
and our guest artist is DEAN DOYLE, Dean needs no Introduction to our patrons as he is always well-received, in fact, there is a ripple of excitement swelling like a tsunami at the prospect of Dean's attendance.

Hi everybody, another great day last Music Day 1st October. All patrons enjoyed the Band "The Classics "as did all the Walk-up artists that I talked with, so big thanks to John Jimmy Richard and Dick
Graeme. Ryce kept us all entertained during his 45-minute members' Spotlight performance. I can't recall the dance floor being vacant for any of Graema's songs.( Well done old mate).
The statistics are as follows: 155 Patrones in attendants, 12 walk-up artists, Not forgetting the 4 band members.
Thanks again to the organizers of the raffles, without their help and the successful running of the same , the BCMC would not be able to function as we do now.

THE BALLINA COUNTRY MUSIC CLUB will function next at the Ballina RSL CLUB on Sunday The 5th of November in the main Auditorium commencing at 10.45 am

Hi Guys and Gals, I'm a little late with my report (FaceBook) let's just put it down to a serious geographical lag.
Another successful day was held on Sunday 3rd September, with 168 Country Music patrons in attendance for Father's Day. The band for the day.AB & the 2 J's, ever popular and well received by the patrons and walk-up artists alike. Eleven walk-up artists did themselves proud and enjoyed your support.
Many thanks to the "Support Army " who made sure that this day was successful (Well Done Team)
Speaking of well done, had many good reports of our Member's Spotlight segment, Dick McKoy (absolutely nailed that Dick).

Sunday the 1st October Don't forget DAYLIGHT SAVING Commenced on this day.
Ballina Country Music Club will commence at 10.45 am in the Main Auditorium at Ballina R S L Club. Come in and sit a spell enjoy a beer or whatever takes your fancy, have a meal or snack, kick back, and be treated to a great day of Country Music.
As always we encourage walk-up artists to attend ( register with Ray Hughes on arrival)
Our band for the day will be the ever-popular "CLASSICS".

Last Ballina Country Music Day was another great day with over 180 people in attendance who where able to see the fabulous Smokehouse band in full flight "well done guys "
Brian and Trish our spotlight artists certainly wooed people with their live performance as did our many walkup artists, and what a treat to have the Paradise Pickers performing during the bands break ( just letting you know they will be back )
Our next Ballina Country Music Day is Sunday 3rd September (yes you've got it ) Starts at 10.45am until finish time at Ballina RSL Club. The band for the day is Anne and Bill and the 2Jays (dont miss these guys they are top shelf)
Ballina Country Music spotlight is to shine on the very talented Dick McCoy.
Finally we encourage all walkup artists to come along and enjoy the day.

2nd of July turn out to be a really great day
15 walk up artists plus band of 4 with 150 in attendance
Doug Liebke had the place really rocking(thanks heaps Doug).We were lucky to have Mary Omahony to entertain us with her absolutely marvellous violin(such a talent thanks Mary) thanks also to our band and the many walk up artists(with out which we would not exist)
August 6th will be our next music day same place same time 10.45 am till stumps ..where Ballina RSL Club in main Auditorium
Guest artists will be the fabulous Trish Grey and the saxiest man in our club Brian Elliot (you are all in for a treat from these very talented artists)our band for the day is SMOKE HOUSE. See ya there or be square.

It is with deep regret, I have to inform you of the passing of John Venn
John was a member of the BALLINA COUNTRY MUSIC CLUB and performed last July on our segment. MEMBERS SPOTLIGHT
John is well remembered as a true stand-alone COUNTRY MUSIC PERSONALITY and had a great voice and performing skills, which he unselfishly shared with many clubs and venues
John will be sadly missed within our club.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Johns's family

BALLINA COUNTRY MUSIC CLUB is on track for another Country Music Spectacular Just Mossey on down to the BALLINA RSL CLUB
Sunday the 2nd of July At 10.45 am Held in the MAIN AUDITORIUM
The band for the day will be the" FABULOUS" CLASSICS" where JOHN JIM Richard and Dick will open the day and then play for the walk-artists. WILL BE A GREAT DAY
As always Walk-up artists are encouraged to attend (just register on your arrival with Ray under the register sign).
A special treat will be our GUEST ARTIST "DOUG LEIBKE".

Doug began singing semi-professionally at 16 years of age with a local Mullumbimby Band.
Doug appears regularly at many local Country Music Clubs and in September 2018 was our showcase artist he entertained us at our CHARITY DAY.
Thanks, Doug for being a great supporter of our Club.

The DUNGARUBBA Action Group will hold a Country Music Day . these days will be regular events

Well, all you Country Music fans.
It's on again Our Ballina Country Music Club Monthly music day
Starting at 10.45 am on June the 4th, (looks like it's gonna be a big one again) Our band for the day will be the fabulous "ANN BILL & THE 2J's. If these guys and gal don't knock your Sox off (I think they will) then our Guest artist "TONY WAGNER" will,
Tony is no stranger to our stage and is well-received by our patrons. Look for his bio in our newsletter on the day.
Sort of a special day for us as we are celebrating our 17 th birthday ..started in 2007
"ALSO" during the 30-minute band break, a UKULELE group Called "THE GUKEYS" will entertain us during this time (see Photos)
As always Walk-up artists are very welcome to register with Ray, just look for the registration sign. You will need 3 copies of the song lyrics and Chords ( then just check the poster board for your name to come up)
Don't forget you can get a beverage, snack, or a meal just outside the Auditorium either bring it back or enjoy the atmosphere of the trendy bar.

A great day Sunday the 7th the guys from "SMOKE HOUSE" maintained their stasis quo by rolling out another great Smokehouse Musical day. Just thought you might be interested we had 168 patrons in attendance( thanks to all the music and dance lovers) We also had 19 walk-up artists, who absolutely made the day ( a big thank you to all who appeared).

MEMBERS SPOT-LIGHT will be our own "KEITH HOLMES", come along and pay your respects to this guy. He is a life member and one of the founding members of the Ballina Country Music Club, some sixteen years ago.
Keith started singing around 1975 being cast by BALLINA PLAYERS, in their presentation of "Jesus Christ Superstar"
Keith began as a walk-up artist in 2006. He started Kojacks Jukebox around 1998 (still going) and performs in many nursing homes and the like , within this region.
Keith's favorite Country music artist is ALAN JACKSON.

Another great music day was held Sunday, April 2 nd our Members, patrons along with walk-up artists continue to maintain a high standard and appear to be enjoyed by all who attend

President Mr.Bob Bolewski, has asked me to REFUTE the rumor that is currently circulating, that our club is going to three monthly functions ONLY. this malicious rumor is definitely NOT CORRECT.

We will function as always on the first Sunday of the month.
Let me reassure you that BALLINA COUNTRY MUSIC CLUB has never been as strong. The reason, in my mind, is that we only have the best bands, attract very talented Walk-up artists, top-line guest artists, and worthwhile raffles, all of this along with a very comfortable venue that is well-serviced with meals snacks, and bar service.

What a great day. Over 180 Country Music patrons and line dances.
The band was superb, as were the walk-up artists.
Brian Austin (Guest artist) was a sensation and left the audience almost spellbound. Such a great entertainer!.
