I could cry! Waking up to this email this morning has my heart full!!

We just wanted to say a massive thank you, our ceremony was the best ceremony we’ve ever been to and we’re totally not biased everyone has commented on how amazing you were! You made us feel so relaxed and comfortable and everything you said was spot on. Our friends are getting married in October and even asked if they could change celebrants because you were just so fantastic. I DON'T WANT AN AUTOBIOGRAPHY.

This is the sentiment I'm hearing from couples when I ask how they envisage their ceremony to look, feel, and sound.

Now, I know that it would be easy to simply recite, in chronological order, the things you said, and what you did to get to the alter, but, let's face it. We're better than that.

Your story will be written to celebrate you both, not bogged down in detail, but nuanced and romantically exploring your journey, celebrating the things that make you and your love unique, with a little humour, lots of love and a mix of your words and mine.

Last month, I had the honour of meeting Stephanie and Linda, and being part of their beautiful couple's only elopement in the Byron Bay hinterland.
