Lauren and Soul had a fun selection of drinks for their Ewingsdale Hall wedding earlier this year. Here is a shot of the classic (and always loved!) Mojito that we mixed up for guests. We also created a delicious espresso martini with dulce de leche and cinnamon rim using Little Drippa cold drip coffee - it makes the best espresso martinis!

Earlier this year we catered for the beautiful wedding of Lauren and Soul. They are such a sweet couple. Soul is in the Armed Forces and they had to plan their wedding in-between Covid lockdowns and Soul being posted overseas. It all came together in the end and they had a great night. Here they are pouring champagne into their champagne tower. These towers are always so much fun!

As with all weddings, we always make sure to create amazing food no matter the dietary requirements. This beautiful dish is the vegetarian option that we created for Jennifer and Jason's wedding. It's our roasted pumpkin, feta and baby spinach lasagne stack with cherry tomato compote. Absolutely delicious and a great one for the warmer months when tomatoes are at their best.

A canapé that we love to create at weddings is our peppered beef carpaccio with horseradish cream. We source the most amazing beef from our local fave Trevor Mead Quality Meats and prepare it so that it is really tender. We served this at Jennifer and Jason's wedding. It went down well with the 2008 Dom Perignon 😉

One of the mains that we created for Jennifer and Jason's wedding was our beef tenderloin with vegetable mirepoix, sweet potato gallet and red wine jus. It is such a beautiful hearty dish, loaded with amazing flavours. We source the best quality beef from our local favourite Trevor Mead Quality Meats to create this delicious dish.

We are so excited to share the photos from a wedding that we catered for last year. Jason and Jennifer had an intimate ceremony held in their amazing house on Bilinga beach at the Gold Coast. Their wedding was so fun! And they were both really open and welcoming with our team. It was such a pleasure to be a part of their special day. Hilary and Darren are vegetarian so the menu that we created for their wedding was completely vegetarian. Even the meat eaters devoured the food and commented on how delicious it was. This dish is our vegetarian dupuy lentil and eggplant Charlotte with baba ganoush and roasted capsicum sauce. So good!

A while ago we catered for the beautiful wedding of Darren and Hilary. They were married at the magical location Deux Belettes on a golden spring afternoon. The menu for the wedding was completely vegetarian and even the meat eating guests commented on how filling and delicious the food was! As delicious and amazing as a traditional sweet wedding cake is, it's nice when we have the opportunity to create a more savoury version.

We put together this cheese tower wedding cake for Liz and Scott's wedding using some of the most beautiful cheeses we could find from our local Cheese Please Byron. It included Soumaintrain soft cheese, King Island Lighthouse Blue, Maffra aged cloth cheddar and King Island Stokes Point smoked cheddar. We then served it with Turkish bread, Lavosh crackers, grapes, fresh figs and quince paste.

So decadent and delicious!

Covid has been a huge challenge. Many caterers have had to find alternative ways to create enough work to support their families, and keep their team employed. One thing is for sure though, I haven't lost my passion for food. The quiet periods have encouraged me to explore new recipes and play in the kitchen. Passion for your craft helps you get through these tough times. I hope though, that it's not far off that we can again return to creating amazing food and parties for bride and grooms.

These little rolls go down so well as a wedding canapé. Guests love them! They are our crispy peking duck rolls with cucumber batons, shallots and hoisin sauce wrapped in a thin pancake. Full of amazing texture and flavour.

Ganesh sadly couldn't have his family here from India on his wedding day. Knowing that he would be missing them, we decided to add something special to the edible table runner. We included potato and pea samosas with mint coriander chutney. We also put a bunch of them in a basket for the couple to take with them to their beach photo session. Ganesh loved them and devoured them all!
