Emerging from the rave and free bush party scene in the ‘90s, Choice is one of Perth’s most experienced DJs. He first started DJing jungle and psy-trance at the Epicentre in Byron Bay, before moving back to Perth where he joined forces with the Perth psy-trance mafia, and formed Awarehouse productions with DJ Jayd (now in Melbourne).
Awarehouse was the first crew to bring international psy performers to Perth. Over the years they toured psy, trance, progressive house and techno acts like Tsuyoshi Suzuki, Art of Trance, Union Jack, Terra Ferma, POB, Mark Allen, Christopher Lawrence, Cosmosis and Pied Piper, as well as the king of London acid techno, Chris Liberator.
Since then, Choice has branched into many genres, including progressive, bass house, breaks, Afro house, and techno. He has played or held residencies at pretty much every decent club and festival in Perth at one time or another, as well as supporting a long list of the world’s top performers, including Carl Cox, Paul Van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, Sander Kleinenberg, Tiesto, Paul Oakenfold, Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Sasha, John Digweed, Adam Beyer, Sven Vath, Kid Kenobi, and many, many more. Along the way, Choice picked up a Perth dance Music Award for best progressive DJ.
These days Choice is still a member of the Rebel Alliance, a moderator of Every Shade of Rave group and part of the Royal Jelly crew, which is responsible for the Wild Campout New Year’s festivals.

If you were at The Nook launch night you already know you're in for a treat! We're super excited to have NuPhoria joining us tomorrow night!
Having come through the ranks of the Habitat DJ Competition back in 2011, Atif has slowly pushed the NuPhoria sound into prominence within Perth's underground scene. Over the years the NuPhoria sound has consistently evolved, recently taking influences from the outer-worldly sounds coming out of Burning Man to the afro-centric South African house scene.
His sets are characterised by deep hypnotic melodies, elongated basslines, tribal percussions and the occasional sample from Middle-Eastern/Eastern European folk music, which brings Atif back to his ethnic roots. At the same time his versatility helps him glide through different sub-genres of house and techno, keeping things interesting on the dance-floor while at the same time trying to push the envelope. His adaptability has helped him to play across various events in the Perth underground circuit, playing regularly for Habitat and MVMNT and at venues such as Geisha Bar, Barbes & Nevermind Smallclub, while also running his own brand “Solouk” alongside his close friends.

A solid background in house and techno, woven effortlessly into those forgotten funky disco tracks before transitioning straight into ass shakin’ Afro beat in original and seamless ease. A sight for sore eyes, and a recipe for sore feet, there is an electric undercurrent in the air and a raging dance floor before him wherever DJ WHUT? throws down.

Ben Revel got his first turntables at the age of 15 and was a regular in the Manchester club scene from 2003 - 2013, before moving to Australia. Since then you may have caught his bass ridden grooves around Freo/Perth as part of Ruff Jams or as Papa Bird (founding The Birds Nest Blazing Swan camp).
Fusing his sound in the UK as a resident in Sankeys (Manchester), Ben Revel has played alongside the likes of Greg Wilson, the Inland Knights, Hot Since'82, Danny Raper and Mr Peabody.
His sets continue to fuse house, breaks, disco and the ever-present bottom end funk.
You can catch Ruff Jams monthly at Ronnie Nights (Freo) as well as regular Ben Revel sets at The Federal, Freo Social and Si Paradiso.
