Okay… this feels a bit surreal

I’ve been sitting on the news for a couple of weeks that I was a finalist in the Wedding Industry Awards for Geelong & Surf Coast.

Tonight was the virtual awards… and I ended up in the Top 3 for Civil Marriage Celebrants

Honestly, this photo probably sums me up better than anything.

Because behind something like this isn’t just standing up the front with a microphone.

it’s:
• calming nerves before you walk down the aisle
• having a laugh when things don’t go to plan
• telling your story in a way that actually feels like you
• and making sure your ceremony is something you genuinely enjoy

That’s always been the goal.

So to be recognised for that by my amazing couples is pretty special!
