Once again we are joining forces with Omnificent Road & Ruby Mae's Wish, a for a MONTH LONG pop up shop.
Grand opening on Thursday 30th, just in time for the Girls Night Out Barraba on Friday 1st.

Trading days will be as follows for the pop up shop next week.

Thursday 30th Nov: 9am - 4pm
Friday 1st Dec: 9am - 7pm
Saturday 2nd Dec: 9am - 11am

Ranunculus corm harvest 2023!

Who knew the Woolworths bags would come in handy other than lighting the fire?? 🙌
3/4 of the ranunculus have now been dug and stored ready for next year.
It’s amazing how I only purchased approximately a bag full at the beginning of the season and now have multiplied my stock x5 (by the time the rest have been dug up).

Looks like I might need a bigger patch for 2024!

Today there are tears as the time has come to start taking expressions of interests for the sale of Ivory Lane. It hasn’t been a easy decision and one we have joked about many times - but ultimately I was never ready to let go off.

WHY ARE WE SELLING :

At the heart of it I truly love my job and everything we have worked really hard to continue - even during the lowest of lows , but in 2020 our life changed and this has been huge to navigate.

Unfortunately we will never be the same and this means we really need time to figure out who we both are after such a huge momentous loss. This is why our beautiful business would be better to move onto someone who is passionate about events, has a eye for detail, who may even want to add it to there current business and someone who can ultimately network to expand this amazing business even further.

We also want to make sure that all of our future brides and potential clients understand that it will business as usual until the 2nd of November 2024. We will continue to provide the best experience possible and devote ourselves until November 2024.

WHAT IF THE BUSINESS SELLS ?

Rest assured we will work closely with any potential new owners and we will be there for any weddings booked by us. So really there will be no changes to booked or potential weddings. This is extremely valuable to any new owners and the right person will value our clients enough.The only change at this time is we are closing our books after November 2024 for now - hence why we haven’t opened up 2025.

Our last ever wedding will be our own on the 23rd of November 2024 and hopefully this can be an opportunity for new owners to show their stuff and the beginning of a new adventure for us both !!

Thankyou to all of the amazing venues we have had the joy to work with and most of all our couples ❤️ I have been extremely lucky to share your amazing love stories and I look forward to building my own.

MR & MRS DARLINGTON

This wedding was just that bit more special for me.
I taught both of these beautiful souls a few years ago, & both in their own ways taught me so much about being a teacher.
When Maddie asked if I could create their wedding florals I jumped at the opportunity to be a very small part of their special day.

A few months ago I bought a new shipment of indoor plants, sat them in my enclosed verandah thinking they would be safe as houses!!!

Well they weren’t. We coped a -10 degree night with a massive frost the next morning which some of the indoors did not like at all.
Thinking that I had lost the lot, but hoping of some sort of recovery I put them in my “sick bay” corner.

Low and behold they have come back to life!!!!
