The Jetblack 24 Hour has been on the Rocky Trail calendar since 2009 – we’ve raced around the clock at a holiday resort, a botanic garden and a winery, the state forest of trance and for the next one we’re heading to Lithgow for a third year in a row. Race in the classic Solo categories or in teams of up to six riders. The event’s 6+6 hour option lets you rest overnight and retreat to one of the cosy hotels nearby for a re-start on Sunday morning.

We will continue to run the popular 6+6 Hour racing option for those who want to have break during the night. Plenty of time to have a shower, hearty dinner and a catch up with the team mates – race start is with the 24 Hour riders at 12pm on Saturday and you stop at 6pm. Then, you’ll go out again at 6am and finish with the crowds at 12pm on Sunday.

Rocky Trail Entertainment proudly announces the one-year countdown to Sea Otter Australia and shares an update on the highly anticipated cycling festival set to take place in the Eurobodalla Shire and the Mogo State Forest from October 22-26, 2025. Organisers from Rocky Trail Entertainment say that already well over 100 Australian and international brands have been secured to exhibit.
As the first industry and consumer event of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, Sea Otter Australia will be established as one of the country’s premier cycling events. It is set to redefine the cycling landscape in Australia.
The Festival will be held in Batemans Bay, NSW, a renowned tourism destination on the beautiful NSW South Coast and the home of the world-class Mogo Trails. Located in the triangle-heart between Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra, Sea Otter Australia will attract an estimated visitation of 7,000-8,000 industry professionals and cyclists from Australia, New Zealand, and the world.
Inspired by the iconic Sea Otter Festival in North America, this groundbreaking event will offer a comprehensive experience that combines world-class racing on the Mogo Trails.
The activities will also include riding experiences, an industry summit and at the heart will be the industry tradeshow and a comprehensive consumer expo. The event will foster a sense of belonging and shared passion among riders of all ages and skill levels, and provide a platform for showcasing cutting-edge products, technologies, and industry trends.

A vision is taking shape ⛰️ We're not just developing trails, we're crafting an epic mountain biking destination! 🚴♂️ From flowy fun to heart-pounding descents, the Mogo Trails are coming to life. The Mogo Trails are dropping the tape to the first stage of trails this weekend and this network development and crafting is still ongoing.
Temporary signage is installed and the "live" trail details and locations can be accessed digitally through the Trailforks app from this weekend.
The staged opening and 'dropping of the tape' means that the first 70-80km trails are ready to ride and, in fact, need wheels on the ground. This is an opportunity for the local and visiting mountain biking community to start exploring those. Riders will literally help us shape the network in this next phase until the full and official opening in early 2025, so we invite mountain bikers to join us on this journey.

The Willo, 2024. The new era of 'XC''. This year, the goal was to make all the distances fun and challenging and remind people great trails are the recipe even when pedaling. Epic video by @_lane__williams_
A huge credit has to be given to the new sections of Superbowl built by @keystonetrails.au). With many riders on trail bikes, 120mm XC or highly specced XC race machines, we took away the fire road sections and took advantage of the amazing flow in Superbowl. If you haven't ridden it yet, its worth it. Easily the most common feedback so far was how fun those sections were.
We are going to continue this again in the Stromlo round, multiple distances but all of them as fun as they are challenging.
The UC Stromlo loop will be a 27km giant loop, showcasing 75% of the trails in Stromlo used or partially used. Single track is broken up by 11 sections of forest trail to pass then jump into another epic trail. Highlights include: "Evolution", Sunset Boulevard, Missing Link, Double Dissolution, Skyline, Luge and a whole lot more of the UC Stromlo classics.
Two major climbs: the gentler front face to City View (5km at an average of 5%) and the more punishing “Casuarina Climb” on the northern side (2km at an average of over 10%). Its still going to test you, but we've broken up the elevation to ensure more fun!
