Youth Week 2024 Information

NSW Youth Week 2024 will be celebrated from 11 to 21 April 2024. Youth Week is a celebration of young people, organised by young people.

The Bathurst Regional Youth Council will be hosting Youth Week Sunday Sesh to celebrate Youth Week 2024.
Date: Sunday 21 April 2024
Time: 4pm-8pm
Location: Kings Parade

Youth Week Sunday Sesh is a free event suitable for young people aged 12-24 years.
The event will include:
- Market Stalls
- Live music
- Food vendors
- Prizes & giveaways
- Minute to win it challenges
- Chocolate toss
- Q and A session with Youth Councillors

It's the 1st of April! We love a cheeky joke, and actually pulled one in the middle of our wedding. We'd asked Shey's then 17 year old brother to do a reading for us as a part of the ceremony, and then modified just slightly the words to Never Gonna Give You Up. Poor Shennen was so nervous he was three lines in before he noticed everyone laughing and realised he was being rick rolled. Today also marks our 12th anniversary together! We'd known each other for so long that everyone thought us going official was an April fools joke. 12 years, 3 kids, and a lot of laughs and we're still very committed to the bit ❤️

Today we celebrate International Womens Day. We recognise the women who fought to pave the way for us to exist and thrive, we thank the incredible female based community who have welcomed us with open arms, and as a Disabled female I count my multiple blessings to be in the position to post this to celebrate this day at all. We had an absolute blast at the C S or U bar night to welcome new students to campus during orientation week.
