Happy International Dogs Day from our beautiful old Rosie girl.

She still loves coming to work everyday. Even if I do have to lift her in and out of the car these days. She still manages to run to the car when I say do you want to come to work. She loves it.

WOW WOW WOW 💛💛💛💛💛

Now that was a certainly a massive Yellow Day. With over 760 bunches of daffodils sold through our drive thru service.

With some very generous donations and daffodil sales we are very proud to have raised approx. $9,000 for local charities.

If you missed out we still have bunches available for sale tomorrow which will also be added to our overall tally.

Thank you to Mandy and Heather and our work experience girl Bec for all your help today out the front and kym, Tracy and Amanda for holding the fort inside. Thank you ladies.

Beyond thrilled to announce the safe arrival of a beautiful baby boy for our special friend Anna, Adam and a little brother for Daisy.

Baby Jasper arrived on Friday 26th July.

We are all in love with him already and can’t wait to have him grow up amongst lots of aunties in the flower shop.

Today marks the end of an era for VPFD transport. After I’ve running 2 business for the last 10 years today we hand the transport side over to a very professional transport company who with carry on where we finish off.

A huge thank you to Richard George who has been the back bone of our transport business for the past 8 years.
Richard is irreplaceable so it made the decision to call it a day an easy call.
Happy retirement Richard.

10 years of running two businesses has definitely been an experience but I’m very much looking forward to giving my full concentration to my beautiful flower shop and just having a slightly easier life.

Thank you to Richard and to the 20 amazing florists throughout the Central West we have been looking after. Your friendship and loyalty to our business will never be forgotten.

So nothing will change for our customers. We will still receive fresh flowers from the Sydney markets 3 days a week. I’ll just be less tired 🤣

I was going through my old, old files and stumbled across this letter. I literally posted 100’s of these out to businesses in Bathurst trying to get my name out there.
When nobody knew who Vanessa Pringle was. It was tough.

Now days you just do a post of Facebook and 1000’s of people see it.

But I will never forget what I did, the time, the effort to get to where I am now. And never forget the people who have backed me all the way.

Happy Valentine’s Day! We hope you all have a special day. ❤️ Our deliveries are about to start. We have over 250 so it will take all day to get them to all their homes, but we are on our way!! We are not taking any more deliveries for today, but if you would like to grab a gift, we have ready made bunches, red rose bouquets , chocolates, candles and teddies ready to grab from our studio. But get in quick, they are going fast! If you can’t make it to the studio this morning, call 6331 1030 and we can put something aside for you. If you need to get in touch, best to call 6331 1030 and our team will be happy to help. We’re not too good at replying to messages on days like today so just give us a holla on the phone ☎️

Update: 10am. All the big bunches have sold! We have potted plants, hampers, chocolates, candles available. ……… Morning, we got in one last delivery of fresh flowers before Mother’s Day yesterday. We worked through the night and have made lots of lovely bunches. ✨Come by the studio from 8am and grab a bunch. ☎️ Call the studio from 8am and we can put a bunch aside for you to collect today or Sunday morning. They are fresh and beautiful (the florists are not!) but once they are gone, we will be sold out. 🛻 Our delivery runs are full full full so if you pre-ordered we’ll see your loved ones today!

If today at 12pm you heard lots of screaming, cheering and a little happy crying - that was us. After many postponed dates, the Fresh Awards winners were announced. ✨ We won the Florist Service Excellence award!! ✨ Out of 100s of florists in NSW, we won! Well done to our team, this was based on points awarded by mystery shoppers and our staff should be very proud of their dedication to customers and pride in their trade. Well done to all the finalists and winners across the florist, flower grower, green grocer and produce grower categories. Thank you to the @sydneymarkets for again running this event and to the @thefreshawards team for their ongoing support of our industry.

A weekend spent in the garden is a great way to clear your mind and find muscles that may have been sleeping for a while. Perfect me time! I hope you all had a lovely weekend. X

Fresh flowers Bathurst - Vanessa Pringle Floral Designs

We were very kindly gifted this fabulous Reg Campbell print of our building this week. This building started it’s life as a funeral home in the late 1800’s and has been many things over the years. Many Bathurst locals have fond memories of the Cuzners’ Cafe and we love hearing all your stories and piecing it’s history back together.

✨ Fact Friday ✨ This hot tip (see what I did there 😂) is for everyone with their fires roaring now that the temperature in Bathurst has dipped!

🌻 Fact Friday This one is for all the sunflower lovers! You’ll need a kettle and a good pair of scissors. ✂️

Down stairs at 166 William Street we were busy bees working on florals for lots of lovely people and 4 beautiful weddings. Upstairs is still a work zone but we’ve had lots of progress! •Electricians have been in •Plumbers have been in •False wall removed to allow original lounge room to expand to it’s full potential •Exterior walls continue to be re-pointed (the mortar) to be replaced between the bricks that has aged over many years •Bathroom has been rewired and plumber and rendered. •Old kitchen removed ready to be converted to a bedroom It doesn’t sound that exciting, but it all progress and a step closer to creating a beautiful space. Now to find a gyprocker and 3 more cast iron fireplace inserts 🤔 Thank you to all my fabulous tradies. I’m very grateful for your help and guidance bringing this old beauty back to life.
