A little wedding florist update 🤍
I have been a little quite on socials, I do apologise, I have been quite busy with wedding florals and soaking up life with the kids. I do however have a little update on the wedding florist front. And I want to add, my sister Alicia has provided permission for me to share this.
As most of you know my sister, Alicia and I are quite close. Yesterday we travelled to Sydney to meet with a surgeon who will perform surgery to help restore her eye sight. It was a bitter sweet appointment, with us being told that she can’t have surgery on her left eye which is her worst and she has lost nearly all vision in. But it will be done on her right.
This surgery requires her to go on the transplant list, and being her guardian I will be there with her every step of the way.
This is where the flowers come in. I will be limiting my availability over the next 18 months or so. Alicia’s recovery time will be this long post op, and we need to be ready to go once a donor becomes available.
Those already booked in - this won’t affect anything. I’m ready to make your beautiful blooms and am honoured to be apart of your special day. We have staffing options in place and your bookings will still be delivered as promised.
But, for any new inquiries, I will be limiting the availability of how many I can do until the surgery is complete.
This does mean, I will be taking on no more than 10-15 weddings per year for the next little while.
I know you will all understand, as family is the most important thing in life and I appreciate that so much 🤍
