International Women’s Day
In celebration of today I want to share a video of a day I felt empowered, determined and strong.
Dustie Rose was born prematurely and arrived 6 days prior to this video. We were in the midst of wedding season and on this day had 3 weddings. We had spent a few days in NICU then out in time to complete the weddings with the wonderful team we had on deck.
In the lead up I was spending a night here or there in and out of hospital with a placental abruption, waters breaking whilst still running the shop and running after 2 little ones.
Reflecting on womanhood, the juggle of life, business and family this moment is one that brings me joy.
On this day, today, I leave you with one of my favourite quotes:

Today the shop doors open. We have a fresh supply of blooms arriving this morning and mini cupcakes for those who pop by.
Social distancing does apply with maximum 8 people in the front section of the store at time.

Looking forward to hanging this baby up in our NEW SHOP!!
Later this week we pick up the keys to what we are calling our ‘Pop up shop’ or the new phrase you will see is #hoptothepopshop
The pop shop will be around for 6 months to fit in Christmas, Valentines Day and Mother’s Day. We will be packing in workshops and goodies for you to purchase and depending on how all goes and if you all love the space as much as we do then we may just be convinced to stay.
So as promised we will be sharing some behind the scenes goodness until we open in two weeks times.
