What will you do with your bouquet during your ceremony?

If you’re planning to hold a bouquet, it’s worth thinking about what you’ll do with it once the ceremony gets underway.

When it’s time to read your vows or exchange rings, you’ll need both hands free - so it’s good to have a plan.

You might pass your bouquet to someone in your wedding party, but keep in mind they’ll likely be holding their own. If there’s a signing table nearby, that can be a handy (and pretty) spot to place it.

Another beautiful option? Pass it to your mum. She’ll likely be sitting in the front row, and there’s something really special about seeing her holding your flowers during such an emotional moment. Just like Cat’s mum, Monica, who held her bouquet during her ceremony with Will - and the photos say it all.

Pro-Tip: Whatever you do, make sure to grab it back for your ceremony exit!

Wedding traditions are what you make them.

At Zarli and Matt’s ceremony, only Zarli chose to wear a ring, but that didn’t make their exchange any less special.

Instead, we focused on the meaning behind the moment: commitment, promises, and the love that brought them here. Because at the end of the day, a ring is just a symbol. The real magic is in the words, the vows, and the life you’re building together.

Oh hey, I’m Pan!

Figured it was time to update my ‘About Me’ post, because while my love for a great wedding hasn’t changed, my old photo definitely needed an upgrade. Huge thanks to for capturing me looking like someone who actually has their life together.

So, about me: I’m a marriage celebrant, storyteller, and mama of two little humans. My ceremonies are warm, personal, and full of the little moments that make a wedding feel like you. The best compliment I get? When guests come up to me after a ceremony and say, “That felt like it was written just for them.” Because it was.

A few random things you should know about me:

• I’m the middle of three daughters, which means I was born to negotiate, keep the peace, and always get the last slice of cake.

• I don’t just sign up for things, I really sign up. Kinder committee? Check. School Parents Association? Yep. Class Rep? Of course. If there’s a sign-up sheet, I’ve probably already put my name down.

• I’m deep in my concert era and say yes to almost any live gig, especially if it involves reliving my youth with a 90s rock band.

• I’ve set myself a goal of running 10km, so now that I’ve said it publicly, I guess I actually have to do it. Someone hold me accountable.

So, if you’re after a celebrant who will keep things light, make things legal, and ensure your ceremony feels truly yours, I’d love to chat!

Wedding days are full of big emotions, happy tears, and JUST a few things to remember. But you know what you won’t have to stress about? Your vows.

I ask all my couples to send me their vows ahead of time, so when the moment comes, there’s no frantic pocket-patting, no “OMG, they’re in the car!” panic.

Instead, I hand them over, printed in one of my beautiful vow card holders, along with the mic, and you’re all set to pour your heart out.

Less stress, more love. Just how it should be.

New on the Blog:

Stressed About Wedding Planning? The ‘Let Them’ Theory Might Be Just What You Need.

If you are like me, your social feed will have been flooded with mentions for US motivational speaker ’ best-selling book - the “Let Them Theory”.

I gave it a read (well, a listen via ) and found it so interesting. And it got me thinking, maybe the Let Them theory is the mindset shift you need when planning a wedding.

If you are unfamiliar with the book, the Let Them theory is a simple idea that goes like this:

If people want to behave a certain way, let them.

Yep, that’s it. Let Them. Don’t overthink it, don’t try to fix it, don’t lose sleep over it.

The crucial second part to this, is Let Me. Once you have Let Them, ask yourself: “What do I want to do now? What brings me peace, joy, or clarity?”  The idea is you let go of what you can’t control and lean into what you can.

Check out the blog for some examples of how this may play out when planning your wedding, and also some of the stresses I faced when I was planning my own wedding.

Kind Words:

“We can not thank Pan enough for the incredible effort she put into making our day special. From the get go, Pan was very professional and meticulous in her organisation. What we loved most about Pan, is that she was just herself too. Very easy going and lovely to chat to. It almost felt like she was someone we had known for a long time when we spoke to her; she always made us feel comfortable, had a laugh with us and spoke to the intricacies that would make our day special.

She absolutely nailed the introductions and speeches. It was just so authentic to hubby and I (and was spot on for our wedding party too!)

Every moment from meeting Pan to wrapping up the ceremony to having our wedding registered - everything was incredibly organised and perfect.

Again, we cannot thank Pan enough for her dedication and hard work. She was such a big part of why our day went so smoothly. We could not be happier :-)”

Hayley and Jack’s spring wedding at the beautiful was perfect; stunning location, gorgeous couple and surrounded by the people who mean the most to them. It was clear to absolutely everyone there how much they love each other and it was such a joy to be able to share their story and get them married. Thanks again for the amazing review and .
