C H A N G E | is never easy. The fear of the unknown, the grief for an ending, the relief of a decision realised, the gratitude for a chapter you'd never change. And, above all of that, the pride of knowing you couldn't have worked any harder or cared any more deeply.

It's been a big few weeks and we'd be lying if we said we weren't tired. But we're also excited for our deb chapter, and look forward to sharing that with you over the coming weeks.

** Long post ahead! **

As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end, and that time has come for us. After over 8 years, 4 different shop fit outs, bushfire, covid & the cost-of-living crisis, it is time to say goodbye to bridal & formal wear at CC Bridal (debs - watch this space! 🎉).

This hasn't been an easy decision however, as our lease comes to an end in Bega, we realise the time is right. There are many reasons why we're choosing this path, but the main ones are family & health.

My boys were 2 & 4 months old when Mum & I started this business. They're now about to turn 11 & 9, and I'm acutely aware of how fast the time is passing & how much more time I want to spend with them.

I'm also aware of the increasing strain that Mum & I have been under, and the toll this is taking on our physical & mental health. Whilst we won't be closing the business altogether (debs - stay tuned!), we will definitely be taking a big step back.

We've loved every one of our beautiful brides, their maids & their mums! We've also loved all of our gorgeous year 10 & 12 formal girls. So many memories, laughs, happy tears, sad tears, stressful moments & wonderful celebrations.

We are so grateful to everyone who has supported us over the years! Not only our wonderful customers but also our incredible wholesalers, other business owners & our amazing family. ❤️❤️❤️

So, the stuff you need to know:

Last day of trade from Carp Street: 10/1/25 (If you have a bridal appt booked outside of this time pls let us know & we will reschedule 😊)

Last day to place a bridal order: 9/12/24

All of our current brides should have received an email/phone call/text from us by now. If you haven't, please reach out. It will be business as usual for you other than a change of location for fittings from the end of Jan.

All wedding gowns on our rack are now on sale (I'll be updating the website through the week), so we invite you to book a time over the coming weeks to take advantage of some amazing prices!
