And just like that—after 12 years—last Saturday, I hit 650 ceremonies! That’s 1,300 humans. 1,300! I mean, I can barely comprehend those numbers.
Even after all this time and all those “I do’s,” I’m still learning, tweaking, and still pinching myself that I get to do this incredible job. Honestly, marrying people is like the gift that keeps on giving.
Weddings have changed sooooo much in those 650 ceremonies. Some trends have mercifully vanished (good riddance to hay bales as ceremony chairs!), while others have me absolutely cheering—yay for dogs as ring bearers!
Here’s to the next 650!
