Dashville is a secluded bushland venue located within Wonnarua land, at Lower Belford in the Hunter Valley, NSW. Over the last 17 or so years, the Johnston family, led by the rather energetic son Matt 'Magpie' and the help of many, have worked tirelessly to turn a natural bush paddock into a beautiful outdoor arena and camping area all based around his desire for live music events. g boutique music and art event The Gum Ball the largest event at the site with around 3000 campers, was first held in 2005 and is respected as one of Australia's greatest boutique music festivals. A glorious achievement to establish a grass roots festival, it goes without saying that a monumental amount of blood sweat and tears has gone into such an achievement. Based on the slow sustainable growth of these Dashville run events, various facilities have been afforded at the site, such as showers, underground power, shelters, toilets, bars, light towers, roads etc which now allow other events to happen much easier. There is also a 22ft wide x 5tf high skateboard ramp at the site. The camping scenario is all natural clean flat bush land and accessible for wheelchairs. Looking forward to the return of and this Friday night for the first of our Dashville Nights concerts. Both these guys performed at Dashville Skyline in 2023, which you may recall from these images by and JB Paterson from North Queensland. Jack Davies is from Western Australia. The Nundle Rocks line up is here! 40mins east of Tamworth, escape the long weekend mayhem and head to the quaint mountain village of Nundle for an epic three days of live music in the beautifully air conditioned comfort of Nundle Hall.

Nundle Rocks has a vibrant history in the Nundle area, and last years event was evident that it’s worth it’s wait in gold. So here we are back at it 2025, with another amazing casts of live music put together by the Dashville community.

If you consider a festival at Dashville as amazing, then beware of the intimate treat of a Dashville Nights, it really is a superb live music offering. Come for one, come for them all, each of@these November concerts has its own certain appeal and we wait all year to see them go down. Gates open 2pm for campers, arena/bar/kitchen opens 5pm with the music kicking off around 7pm. It’s a great night out! Tickets via the Dashville website.

The end of 2024 is approaching! So let us take the leg work out of organising that end of year soirée with our very special Dashville Community Xmas Party. This year we have trimmed it to just the one day, with all the good stuff still contained within. Family Portraits, live music, picnic hampers, car boot sale, Santa visit, kids activities and workshops… camping available Friday and Saturday. Tickets are now on sale via the Dashville website. The important message here is… If you can’t make the full duration, then you should at least try make a day! With Dashville Skyline you have the option to come 1,2,3 or 4 days. Obviously anybody who has been before will suggest that you come for the weekend, but hey! Nothing wrong with a soft entry. All tickets include the bonus option to camp. Car/trailer pass required to enter campground. All going well you can always tack on another night when you’re waking up not wanting to leave. Way back when Muddy Waters invented electricity, power tools came to rule the Earth. And man, with his cunning ingenuity, harnessed their boundless power and made our lives beautiful. Thus, the happy people, enjoying the fruits of easy labour, begot Power Tool Drag Racing. A 20m drag strip will run from one end of The Grateful Shed to the other, nestled amongst a dance floor and a quaint bar serving icey cold Bentspoke beers.
