In the 10 and under event, Loddon Campaspe finished 2nd overall on the ladder, with no finals played. The team finished with four wins and one loss which was at the hands of the eventual winners Mornington Peninsula. The 10 and under team as made up by Ronny Epps, Clayton Fleming, Winnie Kelly and Heidi Fitzgerald.

Loddon Campaspe’s 12 and under team won their event after topping their pool and then defeating Barwon in the final 3 rubbers to 1. As the team consisting of Eli Kingma, Jaxon Eddy, Gracie Seipolt and Vaida Penno didn’t lose a single match showcasing their skills the entire weekend.

The 14 and under Loddon Campaspe team finished first in their pool and looked set to replicate the 12 and under teams’ success but narrowly fell short as rubbers were tied but Barwon edging Loddon out on sets and games to be declared the winners. Loddon’s team was made up by Kade Starling, Eoin Ryan, Willow Kelly and Skylar Austin.

In the Junior Open event, Loddon Campaspe team finished second in their pool after Barwon edged them out in the last pool game, but the tournament wasn’t over as they still had the third and fourth playoff match. The team of Lewis Murray and Joaquin Demaria O’Sullivan, Rhiann Eddy and Bronte McGregor claimed a third-place finish after a comfortable win over Mornington Peninsula in the playoff match for third.

Nathan Broad put his hand up to help a team in need of an additional player, that team was North East in the Junior Open (Under 18’s). North East ending up claiming the Junior Open title. Cielo Demaria O’Sullivan assisted Central Highlands Junior Open team, which finished sixth.

We’re incredibly lucky at the Bendigo Regional Tennis Centre to have the support of amazing local businesses who sponsor our club. Agnico Eagle Fosterville, one of our major sponsors, has been instrumental in helping us create not only a top-class tennis facility but also a place for community and business groups to meet. Their support has not only improved our tennis programs but also contributed to the growth and success of our club. We are grateful for their partnership in making this possible!
