Bendigo Ford have parked a Ford Ranger in our concourse to help spread the word about the Bendigo Ford Fun Run - now just under a month away on Sunday 2nd March.

With distances for all ages and abilities - including the 1km kids dash, 5km fun run/walk, 10km fun run, and half marathon - this event is a fantastic way to get active while making a difference. Every step you take supports the Bendigo Health Foundation and its vital work!

Bendigo Spirit fans showed up in full force last Friday night, with almost 2,000 people cheering on the Spirit at Red Energy Arena! Let’s do it all again this Sunday afternoon for their final home game before finals. Tip off 12.30pm at Red Energy Arena.

Free and refreshing water is now easily accessible at Red Energy Arena, thanks to our partnership with Coliban Water and the City of Greater Bendigo.

As part of the Choose Tap initiative, four public drinking fountains have been installed around the arena. The fountains are now available for public use – just in time for the Breach Apparel Bendigo Junior Classic, which will bring thousands of basketballers and their families to the region for the Australia Day long weekend.

Coliban Water’s Executive General Manager Customer and Stakeholder Experience, Lauren McLean, says Coliban Water is pleased to provide the drinking fountains through its Choose Tap program.

“The Choose Tap program helps us deliver drinking fountains in key public spaces in communities across our service region,” Ms McLean says.

“We are delighted to collaborate to improve the amenity and sustainability of Red Energy Arena."

🎄CHRISTMAS COURTS CLOSURE ANNOUNCEMENT🎄
Unfortunately, courts will be out of action from the 20th December, 2024 with work commencing on the 23rd December, and will not be available until Monday 13th January, with only courts 4 – 10 available.

Court 1 will be out of action until Wednesday 15th January (rings will be removed until this date).

Melbourne United Basketball Club announced this morning that Dash Daniels has signed with the team for NBL26 through the NBL Next Stars program. Bendigo-born Dash, who will turn 17 later this month, is one of the youngest players ever to sign in the NBL and is already a projected future first round NBA Draft pick.

Dash will join United as a training player for the remainder of NBL25, starting in January, ahead of becoming an NBL26 Next Star.
