🌈 Our set ups last week 🌈
Last week we had some super fun set ups for all the children to enjoy.
Our set ups consisted of the following: Duck Pond, Antarctica, Bear and Gorilla Habitat, Ice Cream station and much more!
We had children 8 months - 3.5 years of age attending and they all had such a fun time exploring.

Are you looking for a Playdough recipe?
This recipe is so easy and is the softest Playdough I’ve ever made. It’s simple and you use the microwave which means no mixing constantly 🙂
What you need:
2 x Cups of Plain Flour
2 x Cups of Water
2 Tbsp of Oil
1 Tbsp of Cream of Tartar
1/4 Cup of Salt
Food Colouring
Method:
- Mix all of your ingredients in a microwave safe bowl until combined.
- Place in the microwave and cook for 2.5 minutes. Remove from the microwave and mix, breaking away the crusty edges from the dough and remove from the bowl. Mix the lumps and soft mixture together.
- Place into the microwave for a further 1.5 minutes. Repeat the steps above.
- You will then add it for another 45 secs to cook. Once you remove it from the microwave you will need to mix it well.
- You may notice it is still a little gooey, if so follow the steps above and continue to cook in 30 sec increments until it’s no longer gooey.
- Tip onto a floured surface and kneed your Play dough.
I often make 2 batches ( 1 coloured and 1 White) these colours when mixed will give a marble effect. ( I don’t get anxiety when white is mixed in with a colour 😂)
Your Playdough will keep in an air tight container for roughly 1 week. For longer usage keep stored in the fridge.

Yesterday I travelled to Edgeworth to set up Messy Play at Edgeworth Memorial Community Centre.
It was our 1st session and it was a great success for the playgroup with 20+ families coming along.
A big thank you to Liam for all his hard work organising such a great morning for all the families.
I had so much fun watching the little ones. They explored, created, splashed and had the best time with Messy Play.

Rudie Nudie Play Mat
100% Waterproof 💦
I brought the jumbo Picnic Rug which is 2m x 2m so it will give plenty of room for the little ones to get Messy or Wet!
We tested it out this afternoon with our Water Tray / The Hose as the children turned it on to fill up their Teapots.
I was completely surprised at how waterproof it was. Not 1 drop of water to be seen leaking through the other side.
It will be ideal for our indoor Messy / Wet Play.
I can’t wait to share it all with you at some of our sessions and Birthday Parties!
On Tuesday we enjoyed our visit to Lake Haven Court Aged Care Facility - Alino Living. I created some Fun, Colourful and Messy Set ups for our little ones to dive into! And well didn’t they all have a ball with these set ups..Some of our set ups included: Butterfly Pasta, Construction Zone, Animal Ice Rescues and so much more! Today my little ones enjoyed Halloween themed messy play at home.
We explored our mystery water and made some fizzy potions.
We enjoyed making some pretty coloured fizzy potions and my littlest (22 months) also has a great time finding a way to play and add in her vinegar without using a dropper.
This play was a great learning experience while having the best time playing.
I will be adding the details for the fizzy potions during the week so you can create these at home with your little ones.

Over the weekend we had the pleasure of creating a Fun, Safe and Hands on play space for a 1st Birthday! We incorporated a couple of “Bee” inspired trays to match In with the theme 🐝 #messyplay #sensoryplay #birthdayparties #centralcoast

Over the weekend we helped celebrate a 3rd Birthday with our Birthday Party Tray Hire Package due to having other commitments myself..
Luckily for me I had been recommended to this family from another company due to illness and we had 4 days to work out the perfect trays for the birthday boy.

It was a lovely day yesterday for a Monday morning session in the sun and lots of FUN was had. Unfortunately this morning we were washed out for our session due to rain/ showers in Norah Head!
