It's been forever! Hello long lost friends of Facebook! I don't really know where to start! We have all had a big few years haven't we?! I hope you are all fairing ok!

I know a lot of you first joined me on here when I was making linen clothing. Last year I decided to close down this arm of Windlewood and begin making linen flowers. There were many reasons for this shift, one of the big ones being that I wanted to make something that could make a difference. Something that was more than just an object. This week, after a year in development, I will launch my Flower Boxes. A fusion of a linen floral gift and greeting card all in one box that can be sent directly to your loved ones. They can be personalised with your own greeting and longer message for any occasion. (Birthdays, Weddings, Get well soon wishes... the list is endless!)

That's my biggest update but there have been other things happening behind the scenes... Mostly centered around my next adventure... A travelling studio! I am currently fitting out a campervan and will be on the road hopefully early next year making linen flowers as I go.

I've connected my Instagram back up with Facebook so hopefully I'll have some more posts flowing through here.

If I was a house-this would be me. I had the most magical stay at @acreofroses potting shed this past weekend. I am 2 weeks out from Craftlab, so although ideally I would have been relaxing up a storm, I was busily making many many linen flowers. I think it’s testament to the magic of being amongst this inspiring space that somehow I still feel refreshed and relaxed. I even cracked out my favourite Elvis tunes on the record player and danced in the kitchen… something my overthinking brain would usually never do. Thanks so much for having me Sandy and Rob. A weekend I’ll never forget.

I wish my hands would work that fast! A little snippet of my prep for Craft Lab in May. I’ve been selected as a participating demonstrator with a beautiful alcove to fill with my practice and product in Ballarat’s Mining Exchange. I’ll be showing how I make my flowers and selling my pieces as part of the event hosted by Creative City, the City of Ballarat as part of Ballarat Heritage Festival. Lots to see with other artisans sharing their behind the scenes to their crafts too… as well as heaps of artworks on display in the middle section. It’s going to be the bees knees!
