Just had the honour of watching this talented young guy perform at the opening of Art by the Sea, a three-day exhibition at Shoalhaven Heads Surf Club featuring work by fabulous local artists. Joe Visser is one of the Shoalhaven’s hottest new singer-songwriters. At just 14 years of age, he already has many impressive musical achievements tucked under his belt. Joe’s supported musicians like The Bean Project, Scott Cook and Daniel Champagne, won the April 2017 Shoalhaven Unearthed, featured on the Young Coasties album, appeared on Power FM’s Friday Livewire, played at Kangaroo Valley Folk Festival, and wowed audiences at the Shoalhaven River Festival. His original song, Playing With Fire, was shortlisted for a 2017 national songwriting award. He also has his own CD of original songs, which can be purchased via his page or at Hunt & Gather, Nowra.
