A pony, storm clouds, a poddy cow, a couple of dogs and one gorgeous family - name a better combination for a photoshoot!
I first met Gen, Matt, their two kids and a small pony called Frosty at a picnic table in Goomeri. Little did I know that this fun tribe would be in front of my camera not long after.
We almost had all four seasons of weather during yesterday's session but it produced some truly epic lighting and made it all worth while.

The smiles you see in these images weren't put on for show, we genuinely laughed the whole way through the Tuite family photos! I loved capturing all the different little relationships of this family but Evelyn and Chloe were easily two of the most photogenic sisters I think I've ever met

It seems 2023 is the year for first birthday milestones! I've had so many little ones in front of the camera in the last few weeks, all with their own personalities. Archer was a little reserved at first but a quick visit from his grandparents and some beach water were enough to make it hard to trap that precious smile away.

The Biggenden Bluff would easily have to be my favourite place to take photos, especially formals. Jasmine's orange coloured dress really popped with the mountainous backdrop and it was hard to believe it was handmade by her very talented mum! She totally worked the camera during this shoot

My favourite colour has always been green so when I saw Erin wearing this number, I knew it was going to be an epic shoot. Logan was the most adoring partner and together they made such a beautiful pair. No amount of blisters or humidity could take away from this power couple!

I have been photographing Britney since she was a little girl with a fringe, riding giant horses at pony club. So forgive me if I need a minute to stop and feel old that she turned 21 last week!
The last time she was in front of my camera was her high school formal and little did she know that shoot was the first time I experimented with the editing presets I now use every day. The last time Liam graced the front of my lens...well he was accompanied with a mighty mullet. I'm sure you'll agree he has upgraded big time now!

Megan and Bailey’s 2023 wedding has been on my books for a little while now. At the time I didn’t know who they were or that we’d run into each other quite a lot more in the future! Not only were they a ball of fun during their engagement shoot and have been known to be the ultimate romantics towards each other, but they are Broncos fans…say no more!

I always knew this wedding would be beautiful, but yesterday's nuptials honestly blew me away! I've been so fortunate to capture both Chris and Brianna's family in recent years so it truly was such an honour to be there as they said I do. Brianna's dress was breathtaking, the smile on Chris' face was heartwarming and the venues were just magical.
So many things about their love story was serendipitous. When Brianna first crossed paths with Chris while they were studying in Toowoomba she quickly phoned her mother. Chris shared the same last name as her mother's maiden name, and luckily for Brianna - they weren't related! A name isn't all they share with family...they became the fourth generation in Brianna's family to say I do on October 31.
I so hope these photos do their beautiful love justice. I'm still on a high!

I feel like my sneak peaks are getting bigger but the weddings I get to photograph just keep getting better and better! I don't think I've ever seen a more relaxed couple on their big day than Kearne and Sharnese were on Saturday. Cloud cover and mozzies couldn't take away from their happiness.

9/10 times the first thing people normally say when I get to their photoshoot is, 'We're not a photogenic family'. To be honest, it just makes me more motivated to try out my corniest jokes!
The Oppermans sure proved themselves wrong when they got in front of the camera. They were an absolute ball of fun and laughter and their Brahman bulls made for the perfect props

It has been a little while since I've had a newborn in front of my lens, but it was such a privilege to capture little Neville this morning. He was so keen to be earth side that he came early, giving everyone a few extra weeks to take in that cute little face and gorgeous hair!

I truly believe a wedding is as fun as you make it and this couple were an absolute blast to photograph!
I'd never met Shauna and Mitch before. I spent some time with the girls first and then made my way to the boys. As soon as I met Mitch you could tell that he was the perfect match for the blonde bride that was about to walk down the aisle. They may have taken their time coming down the dirt road in a trio of LandCruisers, but the wait was well and truly worth it!

Unfortunately I'm not good at parting with my camera for too long and I couldn't say no when Keeston approached me for a maternity session before their little bundle arrives.

I don't get many winter wedding bookings but after yesterday, I'd love to do so many more!

Jonah and Lucy's wedding may go down as one of my favourites of all time. I feel like I say that every time I finish a shoot but there day was just easy. They told me they were worried about being awkward in front of the camera but I hardly had to pose them; they were just so calm and clearly genuinely in love.

I had a small window to fit Diana, Brad and little Henry in for a photoshoot during my time down south. Unfortunately clouds were threatening on that afternoon and the temperature was chilly, but their warm smiles certainly made us forget all about the weather!

Everyday for the last week Shantelle has been checking my page multiple times a day in the hope that this gallery would pop up in her feed. And guess what...it's finally here!

Watching any woman become a mother is truly special but seeing one of your dearest friends bring new life into the world is even more precious.

I'd drive 2000km any day to capture a family filled with so much love and compassion, and a little girl who is already a fire cracker!

Yesterday was one of the trickiest weddings I've had to shoot. It was pouring with rain, and looking at the BoM radar at the start of the day didn't calm my nerves!
But despite the crazy conditions Mother Nature was serving up, Megan was the happiest bride I've ever had in front of my camera. She was the definition of glowing! It didn't matter what was going on around her, you could tell she was just truly excited to get to marry her man, Zeph.

Last weekend's weather forecast wasn't looking ideal for the three shoots I had scheduled in. On Sunday morning we did contemplate moving the Kenny's session around but I'm so glad we didn't.

The three littlies sure made me work for those smiles but it was well worth it!

Yesterday's shoot may go down as my favourite of all time ❤️

When Brett messaged me a few weeks ago to book in for a couple's shoot in May, I really was tight with availability. But when he mentioned that he planned to propose to his girlfriend Gabby around their three year anniversary - I couldn't say no! I'd never shot a proposal before!

We came up with a plan and when Gabby thought I was getting some intimate shots of her and her horse, Brett was placing the ring in my camera bag behind us. Towards the end of the shoot I told her I needed to get a "generic" shot of her looking out to the scenery, but when she turned around there was an even better view waiting for her.

They were so caught up in the emotion of it all, that I didn't want to interrupt them for a few minutes to let them know that they'd actually put the ring on the wrong finger. It all added to one heck of an epic session!

Despite the windy forecast yesterday, James was still blown away by his beautiful bride, Tara. Together they shared such a beautiful connection and it was a privilege to watch them exchange vows!

Tamworth will always feel like home and a big part of that is because of the beautiful people I now call friends and family. So many of them were a part of this special day, including the bride and groom.

Nathan and Tara were one of the most relaxed couples I've ever seen on a wedding day. They spent most of the time making sure I was having a good time too, which is a reflection of their generous and kind hearts. Their love story began when a 'photo a day' Snapchat challenge hit the 100 day mark, the perfect excuse for Nathan to organise a dinner date.
I hope these photos are lifelong memories of the most important day of your love story!

Last Sunday I headed out to the Hynes family's property for an extended shoot. A Google Maps mishap threatened to derail it but in the end it only meant more time spent capturing their love and laughter. I know they have been patiently scrolling through their newsfeed to find these photos and I truly hope they were worth the wait.
Also, how amazing was their outfit styling!

Horne Family

A few weeks ago I was asked to take pictures of the Horne family during a visit home. Five of the six family members knew what was going on, except for Naree who was under the impression that the family were simply guinea pigs so I could test out a new lens. To add to the story, she was even told that I had lost all the photos and would have to do another photo shoot. It was all part of a Mother's Day surprise so they could give her some new pictures for her wall that were a bit more current than the ones of them in diapers!
